Can anyone tell me what time the campfire isin October?? We are going the 7th of October and I would like to at least go for the marshmallow roasting and petting farm before our 820 pm ressies !!! Is this possible???

I called WDW and the campfire/movie with Chip N Dale is booked/scheduled 5 days out (as to time and what movie is played) and to call 407-824-2727 as they would have that information. I contacted that # and was told that currently (August) it starts at 8:00 but during later months it does bump up to 7:00pm as it gets dark earlier. They suggested I call right before we head down or once we check in to contact them again as they will have the up to date hours and what movies they will be playing. The singalong is approximately 40 minutes long with the movie following.

Go to Fort Wilderness for the campfire/sing-along, nightly at 7pm behind the Meadow Trading Post. Movie begins approximately 7:40pm. A Disney classic movie follows the sing-along. Chip and Dale usually make an appearance. The Fort Wilderness staff will provide a campfire; bring your marshmallows, hot dogs and sticks if you have them. If not, marshmallows and sticks are available for purchase at $2 for 2 sticks and plenty of marshmallows; $5 for a s'more kit. The movie shown is different each night of the week. In the event of inclement weather, a "Porch Jam" sing-a-long will take place at the Ol' Meadow Swimmin' Hole. Movie & Sing-a-Long free of charge. Note: All movies & characters are outside! Campfire Show is held nightly if weather permits.

Hope this helps all...we are planning this right after dinner at Trails End Buffet. It's about 1/2 mile walk from Trails End if you need a reference point. Maybe switch your ressie to earlier 5-6ish then go to this afterwards as a closer to the evening???

I hope it starts @ 7pm starting Oct. 1st---so we can enjoy the sing along and campfire before dinner!!! Keeping my fingers crossed for dark October evenings!!!

In all the years I can remember the campfire times go with the time change so it should still be at 8 p.m. until late October. Sorry this won't work well for you.....

I would still plan on calling closer to the date as it is already starting to get darker earlier to confirm times (this is our plan) It would work either way for us as we are eating 1st so if it's a little later no big deal. I was originally told 7PM in October when I asked a CM about it so who knows when they really decide to change the times? (I tend to think the disboard is more often right than wrong) but I wouldn't stress over it. Check at your hotel after you check in or call the day before you leave and just ask them what time the campfire is - if it's 7 then great, if it's 8 then maybe you could try to rearrange your ADR and make the choice then. Hope it works out for you!

What time would you schedule a carriage ride for after the campfire? I don't know if my triplets will want to sit for the entire movie. They will love the campfire and sing along. Would 8:30 be too early or ok?

What night are you planning to go to the campfire sing-along? We're planning to go our arrival night - Mon 11/28 (after dinner at Trail's End). We're going to do a "sleigh" carriage ride from Wilderness Lodge our last night - 12/4 - 7:00.

The CM I talked to regarding times said 8pm until daylight savings time, then 7pm after. HTH!!!
