Hi Everyone!

This will be our first trip to the FW Campgrounds. My Dad just purchased a new RV and we're heading down during Easter break (me, DH, DD(2), DD, DM). We were very lucky to get our ressies... I was calling 3 times a day and luckily, our dates opened up.

Anyway, have a few questions about the Campfire:

1. Is there seating there or do you need to bring your own chairs?

2. Can we bring our own marshmallows and roast them there?

3. How early should we get there to get a "good spot" - if there is such a thing?

Thanks!!!

this is what half of the theater looks like:

you can bring your supplies, some also do bring their own chairs and set them up front.

The seats available are hard. The next time we go, we're going to take our own chairs for comfort.

You can bring your own marshmallows and Smore supplies or you can buy them there. They even have roasting sticks you can buy.

If you want to sit on the logs instead of the bleachers, you need to get there early. If you don't mind sitting on the bleachers or you bring your own chairs, you should be fine.

Have fun. We just got back after a 9 day stay. The weather was beautiful.

Recommend bringing both smore supplies and chairs. The benches are hard, and you can buy beef tenderloin for the price of the smore kit. ::yes::

We bring a blanket. The kids love to lay on the ground in front and watch the movie. Show up early and watch the preshow with chip and dale. Bring your own supplies.

We also bring a blanket for the kids to lay on the ground and chairs for us. We bring our own marshmallows and smore supplies sometimes. We use the long metal forks to cook marshmallows on. Although we have a nice collection of their sticks also.

Thank you all for your help! We will DEFINITELY be bringing our own supplies!!!

I'd like to see the April Movies as well, particularly April 2. We plan on going, but we aren't staying at FW, rather another resort. So, can anyone tell me what it costs to buy sticks, marshmellows or smore stuff? Also, we are thinking of going early and getting a to go buffet from Trails end. Could we set up there and have a picnic before it starts? Is it within walking distance? Are there picnic tables or nice grassy areas at FW that we could eat dinner at a picnic table?

Thanks!:earsgirl:

The trail's end is near the marina and the campfire program is more in the middle of the park. If you want to see a map go to www.disneycampers.com. There are bleachers and benches at the campfire, but no picnic tables.
