This is our first trip to Ft Wilderness and was wondering after we check out, if there was a place to park the camper and still go into the parks. I know the parks have camper spots, but is that going to cost an arm and a leg for parking?

Yes , you can park in the over flow parking lot at the front at check in while you hit the parks. Ask for a parking pass for the day.

You can also park at any of the parks free on your check-out day. Just show your Ft Wilderness pass at the gate and in you go. The great thing about this is you avoid taking the busses to and from the Fort, and at the parks, they usually put the RVs in the bus area, which is right up front. It's so convenient at the end of your day to hop in your rig and drive off.

Thanks, now i hope that my neighbors dont mind as i hook up my camper with my diesel at 630 in the morning.

Make sure to blast air horns as you pull out - lol! :rotfl2:
As in any RV park, most are used to some folks breaking camp and pulling out early. We noticed some people hitching up in the evening so all they had to do was unplug, dump and drop the hoses in the am.
