Cameras?

OK, last year we went to DLRP in December and i couldn't take my digi cam, so we just used (about 4) disposable ones... and my camera phone. Most of the piccies came out ok but some of the parade ones were just rubbish (surprisingly Fantillusion ones were GREAT!)

i would like to take my digicam this year but wanted to check on security levels (i just got my mobile stolen) and whether it's gonna get in my way on rides and stuff...

What would you reccommend?

Hi,
When we went last year we took our normal camera and also our camcorder. It is so nice to be able to look back over our photos but I am so glad we took our camcorder. We watch our tapes all of the time on the telly and although its not the same as being there they are great for us to watch and remember
As for our camcorder I wouldnt say it got in the way, we will be taking it back with us when we go I wouldnt be without it
Only 11 days to go, but thats not counting today or the day we go

We took 4 cameras with us. Digital SLR which is my toy
Digital compact zoom and camcorder which is diane's domain and a lovely little digital compact which belongs to the troops.
I had SLR in a camera bag and the rest went into backpack so did not cause any difficulties.
