Cameras at DC...

Hello. I will be doing the dolphin swim along with DD and DS while DH is on the "beach". I presume he will be able to snap photos with my Canon from his spot, correct?

I also believe we are not allowed to take (water) cameras in with the dolphins during our swim, correct?

Are we allowed to use water cameras in other parts of the park (like swimming with the Rays), or is that a no-no?

NO cameras in dolphin area, DH can shoot from dry land.
They are dangerous if they should drop because the dolphins can swallow.

YES to cameras everywhere else. I took underwater cameras to swim and a regular camera for on land.

Stingray area you stay standing, and they do have a photographer in there to take your photo.

Coral Reef you can take underwater. I just knot mine to make sure I keep on my wrist.

Thanks for the great pictures and info. Can you get good photos from land of the Dolphin Swim? (DH is NOT a great photographer so I"ll have to have it all ready for him!)

He should be fine. Just show him where the zoom is. Have him stand right at waters edge. He should find some good angles. They have photos going too. I was not taking pictures of anyone I knew, I was just trying to get photos of dolphins. I think I could have done okay with people shots

Depends on which dolphin beach you are at but if at the left, look in some pictures and you see a glass wall. There is a walkway to it, it might be a good vantage point depending on which way they face you.
