Hi,
My fiance(dh when we're there) and I will be having dinner with Pooh and friends while we're in the MK. Are camera's allowed? I've never been to a character meal so I wasn't sure how pictures were handled and whether or not they made guests pay for them. Thanks!

take all the pics you want. Most servers wil lbe glad to snap one of the both of you too. Some take picks when you arrive (CM and Donalds) but they are not with characters.

Oh and congratulations on your upcomming wedding. Have wonderful time at WDW.

Have fun! You should be able to get more candid shots, with the characters goofing off with you, than you would at an official meet & greet. We got some great pics at our character meals. If you're into collecting autographs, most are good about that too. The only ones that (for us anyway) didn't seem as open to autographs were at LTT.

Here's an example. Piglet, Eeyore and Tigger rotate around to all of the tables and let you take as many pictures as you want. Pooh hangs out by the buffet near the entrance and there is usually a short line to see him.

Have fun. We went to WDW on our honeymoon 7 years ago. It was great then and it is great now, although a little different with the little ones. Enjoy not having to wait for Dumbo or Playhouse Disney;) .

K and K's mom.....those are some cute kids you have! :-)

Thanks for the info. We're looking forward to having dinner with Pooh and friends. Just went last weekend to see Piglet's Big Movie in the theatre.

A number of years ago we did the 1900 Park Fare breakfast - happily snapping pictures until near the end of the meal when we realized - THERE'S NO FILM IN THE CAMERA. A mention of our crisis to the waitstaff and all the characters were paraded back for us to retake our photos - and this was a group of four adults!

And...a little known fact.....most Character meals also have film, disposable camera's and authograph books for sale too....just ask your server!

WDW encourage you to take as many photographs as you want. Have a blast.
