This may seem like a silly question, but, how do you protect your camera and camcorder when you are on some of the rides that get really wet? Are the cases enough protection? We are planning on getting a new camera and camcorder before our trip and I would hate to ruin them.

Thanks

I use a large zip lock baggie sometimes, or I'll wrap the camera bag in my pouncho and on Kali rapids I've used a small garbage bag I had stuffed in my fanny pack. I have alot invested in my camera gear and need to protect it.

We had ours in the padded bag and put a garbage sack around it. The camera said nice and dry, more than we can say for ourselves on Kali! ;)

I always take a few of the disposable water-proof cameras to take to the pool, waterparks and water rides. The pictures are surprisingly good and you don't have to worry about them getting wet.

If I forget to bring a bag, I will go into a gift shop right before we go on a water ride. They are usually more than happy to give you a bag to keep your stuff in. My camera has always stayed nice and dry.

I always carry a gallon-size Ziploc bag with me for my camera.

I cut the bottom corners off, put the camera in, and feed the strap through the holes made by the clipped corners. This lets me carry the camera around on the strap, but keeps it perfectly dry even in the heaviest downpours or the wildest water rides.
