Camera Shopping - Any recommendations around the $80-150 range?

I took my son to his first swim class today and couldn't take a focused picture to save my life. So it's time for an upgrade. I think I really need one with good image stabilization and a very short delay once click to take the picture. All the other features are pretty much bonus. Anyone want to share what they have and why they love it?

our walmart is clearancing cameras picked up four cameras including the Fuji WP underwater camera for around $50 each. We already have one it is great. These will make perfect gifts.
