Camera Recommendations

My camera broke several years ago and I never replaced it. Been using my phone but I'm sort of missing a camera now. I've had a Sony, Nikon and Minolta (all pretty much point and shoot) and none of them had ever lasted very long so I guess that's why I haven't gotten a new one yet. I don't need/use a lot of features except zoom. I do like smaller, light weight cameras. And, basically, point and click. Any suggestions?

If you are looking for a good beginner-level camera that both captures good shots and is easy to use, I will recommend you the Nikon 3000 series. They perform great and deliver good colors.
