Camera Questions

Hi there! We are Disney nuts and have never been to Universal! I think we are going to buy season tix for our family this year and take my DD for her bday. (I totally feel like we are cheating on Mickey!! LOL)

We are Harry Potter nuts, so I am super excited about WWOHP!

I keep reading that they make you store everything in lockers. What are the policies on cameras?

We don't have little cameras either. We have DSLR's. Should I go buy a small camera for the trip, or should I take my smaller Nikon D90? Can I take this on the rides with me or at least go through the tour line with it on the FJ ride?

Cameras are considered carry on items and several attractions at Universal do not allow carry ons...including cameras. They would either need to be stowed in a locker or held by a non-rider. You can take your bigger camera but you will not be able to take it with you on those attractions that prohibit them. For Forbidden Journey, you can take it through the queue line but again, you won't be allowed to bring it on the ride with you...which means you'll have to take it to a locker.
