There are only a very few with restrictions.
There will be signs and announcements if you are not allowed to take photos and/or videos.

Otherwise, in general:

No FLASH photos or video LIGHTS to be used in most of the "dark rides" or theater shows.
If your camera only has a flip-out video "viewfinder," its wise to cover it with (at least with your hand)
so that the backlight does not bother others behind you.

I can only think of Philharmagic where I've heard no videography. There may be others. PLUS, I've watched philharmagic on youtube, so I know it's been done. I doubt they were "allowed" though.

Just be courteous to those around you when you're doing it. And no flash. Flash on those dark rides is a killer to everyone while you're riding.

As others said, with a few exceptions, you can take non-flash photography and non-light video of the attractions. However, if it's not allowed, then they aren't going to make a special exception for you. :confused3

Just listen to the pre-show host and you'll know what to do. If you choose to do otherwise, that's up to you.

Really though, if you are told not to take flash photography, if you choose to do so, it will turn out less than great. Disney's not stupid. They want their average guest to have special memories. So seriously, if they say no flash photography, take the hint.

The rides where they don't allow any video/photography are generally those that have movies (which have union/guild restrictions on reproductions).

If you use a flash in front of me on a no flash ride, I might "accidentally" bump your arm and make you drop your camera.

Its common sense.

If it's a dark ride or theatrical, please don't use flash or anything with an LCD screen. Dark rides are awful as it lights up everything and throws off your night vision for the other guests.

Monsters Inc is another one you can't use cameras or camcorders in. Also, Rock n Rollercoaster is another one. I found that out when I was going to record the ride and we got stuck at the Traffic Light until a CM came up to me and asked me to put it away. I actually didn't realize that was one you can't tape, likely because it goes upside down.

No anything at Carousel of Progress - audio recording, video recording, still pictures...

Yeah - I was doing fine until the one time the flash accidentally went off. Then "the voice" announced NO photography, period :umbrella:
