Camera Policies?

If you use a flash in front of me on a no flash ride, I might "accidentally" bump your arm and make you drop your camera.

I don't plan on taking pictures on the rides with or without flash, but if someone like you intentionally bumped my arm and made me drop my camera it is very likely that you and I both are going to end up escorted out of the park for the day or the police might get called. I promise.

But you even admitting that you would do something like that makes you a troll. You are not the Disney police and it is not your job to "punish" offenders.

You're just as bad if not worse than the ones I have seen admit to intentionally stomping on someone's foot because they wouldn't move for them.

Flash and video photography with the LCD screen open is just flat out rude.

I always have my camera and but I never use it on a dark ride. One time on Soar'n a guy on the other ride was snapping away even though we were told no photography. It did not bother me but he just kept on taking shots in spite of what he was told. I guess he is special.

We have had many rides ruined by people with flash and video, HM, SE, and POTC really stand out. CM's were constantly announcing no flash but the idiots kept it up. They should have been kicked out of the park.

Some DSLR's have very loud shutters, mine is one, and just snapping a photo can be disturbing to others.

There are more than enough photo opportunities at WDW that do not disturb other Guests. I have great photos from BTMRR, EE, Primal Whirl, etc. It is hard to move a few feet and NOT see a good photo opportunity. Disney is very open to cameras which is a good thing.

From what I have heard about Universal's camera policy, we will NEVER visit that park.

Dan

... accidentally bump ...
Two wrongs don't make a right but flashing a camera in someone's face is the first wrong, not an accident.

The more consistently swift consequences follow the first wrong, the less likely a second wrong will happen.
