Camera help!

A tripod does not produce a bright glow and draw your eye away from the fireworks or night parade. I find them irritating even if they are not directly blocking my view. But to each their own. :goodvibes

Sometimes true. Unless you have someone reviewing every single shot. Or, like a guy who was sitting in front of me at a dance show, using the LCD screen on the back to adjust their settings. It's all a part of this digital age we live in. Sometimes I wonder if it's really a step forward.

I try to pacify myself by thinking of all the little LCD screens as the glow from pixie dust. ;)

The big 10" screens are harder to rationalize away. Like I said, everyone has their hangups and this is mine. Plus with the OP contemplating a mini, the impact is much less.

Back to the original topic, some of the character meets are in relatively low lighting - especially Mickey at MK. Whichever device you think you want to use, try it out indoors at night with some of the lights on but not all. Then see what the results look like to see which performs as you wish. I would think something that at least has flash available would be desired. I would go for fewer sharp pictures than numerous 'reaction' pictures that are fuzzy.

Have fun, I've just been back a few days and going through withdrawal still...
