All,
Does anyone know what speed DSLR's (Canon 30D in particular) write to memory cards at? I am wondering if I would benefit to upgrade from Ultra II cards to Extreme III or Extreme IV cards? I usually don't meet the upper end of the buffer very often in my daily shooting but this upcoming summer I will be the photographer for a baseball team and will most likely be taking many burst shots that will probably fill the buffer with RAW files.
I just don't know if it is worth the extra money to get a faster write speed card for this purpose alone. There has to be an upper limit on how fast the camera can send the info to the card, isn't there?
Thanks for any input you may have on this.
