...(my kids would abandon me if I showed up in a vest, I am sure they are great but I already embarras them with the shoes and hats I wear.

Then you need to get into, if your not already, Pin Trading/Collecting. Splash a few cool Disney pins on that "photo" vest and it instantly turns into a Pin trading/collecting vest!

The actually sell some nice vests in the pin store in Frontierland. A bit expensive, but works great for holding photo stuff as well as showing off your pin collection.

Then you go from being an embarrasment to being way cool with all the pins! ::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

I just bought that exact bag on eBay, brand new, for $155 shipped. I LOVE IT! The sellers name is sellnsend, maybe they have more?

Is there a limit to the number of pics you can have on the Photopass CD? I can't find it on their website. We got 42 pictures taken, and if there's room I'd like to make 4 copies of each using the available embellishments so that the people in our group could pick the 'border' they liked best.

Also, is there any way to add my own photos or the stock Disney Photo Gallery pics to the Photopass CD and add the embellishments? I'm guessing not, but just want to leave no stone unturned. Looking to maximize my investment.

Thanks! :cool2:

I've sent your questions to my daughter. She was in photopass. I'll let you know what she says.
Lynn

Here's my daughter's response:

"photopass cds can fit up to like 400 pics on each cd.... that person will have NO problem with that...

and i think they can add their own photos to the photobook OR dvd but not CD."

Hope it helped.

We leave Friday and will be traveling with two other families. I'm sure there will be times where we take some of the other kids for a while and vice versa - plus times where my dh will go off with a child or two and I'll have the other one, etc. So I envision there being several photopasses being in use.

Is there a way to combine the photopasses? How do you do that? And for $$ saving purposes -could we combine all the pictures from the three families? (that might be pushing it I know - LOL)

How much are they nowadays?

Carol

You can combine multiple cards. IIRC after you enter the number on the first card, you'll have an option to add additional cards to the account, so you should be able to combine all three families' cards on one cd if you choose. I don't recall the current pricing, but someone will probably be along soon who knows more than I (at least that's usually the case  ).

Have a great trip!

Almost always, my Nikon D80 has the Tamron 75-300mm lens attached. I'd also like to keep my 28-75mm lens and a few extra accessories (spare battery & memory cards) in the same bag. I'd like to find the smallest bag that can accomodate my stuff (again, assuming the 75-300mm lens is attached to the D80).

Does anyone have any suggestions? I've thought about the Lowepro 200 slingshot, but I'm hoping to find something smaller.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks!
Joellyn

Lowpro makes a slingshot 100 as well, but not sure it it will fit. Best advise is to go to a good camera shop and try some out take your kit with you. You can then go home and find it for the best price on the net.

I carry my D80 in a Slingshot 100. I posted some pictures of the stuff I have packed in it in an earlier post.

Disboards: The search for the ever elusive "perfect" camera bag

Since then I got a 50mm. I've had to kick the 70-300mm out of the bag since I use the 50mm more often in low-light situations. The next lens I want to buy is 8.5" long so I'm either going to have to get a bigger bag or one of the Lowepro lens cases that hang onto the side of the bag.

I have the Crumpler $5mil home for my D80. I usually have the 18-200VR attached. It is compact, but should fit your equipment. I carry an sb600, 50mm prime and batteries, cards, lens cleaning stuff etc. very comfortably.

I have the Lowepro Orion Trekker II and it will fit my K100D with an 80-210 lens attached facing down. Your lens is likely a little larger, so it might have to go on its side. The padding is movable, so getting it to fit should not be a problem. You lose space in the bag whe it has to be on the side though. I also can fit two more lenses, filters, and a Canon S2 IS in the bottom part. The top part has internal pockets for batteries, memory cards, etc. and still leaves room for a few odds and ends like snacks, sunscreen, etc. I have a larger Giottos Rocket Blower in one of the the front zipper areas.

Any thoughts on the Tamrac line. Specifically, the Adventure Messenger 3 (5533) or 4 (5534). Or, the Explorer 2 (5502)?

I take pictures at my kids soccer games -- so far, that's about it (although believe me, I take a lot of pictures and we play a lot of games!) I don't need anything fancy or heavy duty. Just something to carry my camera, extra lens, battery & memory cards.

Thanks again :)

I tried the Tamrac Messenger 4 and ended up returning it. I just didn't like it. It was boxy and uncomfortable to carry and it kept tipping over when I sat it down. I store my camera in the bag with the lens hood on backwards and when I would take the camera out, the lens hood would always get stuck on the velcro strips for configuring the dividers. Nice bag for the money, but these little thing bothered me. I specifically didn't like the fact that it tipped over all the time since I was afraid of a lens rolling out, etc.

Anyone have either of these bags?
After recent trip to the zoo, definatly need a bag with better access to lenses than the backpack I currently own.

the circuit city by me had a bunch of tamrac messenger bags when i was there yesterday but don't remember if they had those in particular but if you have on nearby you could take a look, also a crumpler 4 mill home but it was a little small i think for me.

I have the adventure messenger 3 in camo. It is a great bag for me. How much do you want to be able to carry?
