Camelot Inn

We're heading to DL in early June and have booked at Camelot Inn. It looks great on-line and we got a really good deal. But I almost NEVER see that place mentioned on these boards. Do you all know something I should??

Camelot used to be the Park Inn. We stayed there in January and will be there in 2 weeks. It is a nice motel; we either stay at Camelot or Tropicana...they are owned by the same corporation. The continental breakfast is fine and the rooms are good-sized and very clean. We stayed in a family suite last time and have reservations for a suite for our upcoming visit. It is next to McD's and a short walk to the crosswalk on Harbor. I think you'll enjoy it and I'm glad you got a great deal !

We stayed there in May 05. No complaints,will stay again in summer of 08.

Thanks, Mary Jo! Is this hotel actually "just across the street" from the parks like they claim? Also, can you see the fireworks at DL from pretty much anywhere on the grounds of the hotel, or do you have to be in a certain area? Thanks!

pittypat,the 'best' place to watch the fireworks is pool-side.Can't be beat. And yes,it's right across the street.
