Camelbaks Allowed in WDW Races?

On 20 mi training runs I will stop for a 20oz gatorade and refill it as it is getting low, so 30ish oz typical. Drink when you are thirsty and use your long runs to train your body to burn fat for fuel.

At the other end of the spectrum, during endurance events I take in up to 40oz PER HOUR and sometimes still lose a pound an hour. Half of that is water, the other half Infinit (liquid calorie product) and I also do a Salt Stick each hour. So potentially 120oz total for that same 20 mile training run as above.

I reached that formula after some pretty awesome blowups over the years, so like everyone else has said, find out what works for YOU and your sweat rate and by all means get it figured out on the long runs well before race day. :thumbsup2

It's always better to have what you need on the course- Disney does an ok job but I've been on the course at Disney when they ran out of powerade and water tables were already taken down. (I believe it was the full 2007 but am not positive of the year, but it was in the 70's for the start of the full at 6, and it was also very hot for the half the day before.) So make sure you have what you need, you can't count on the race, even Disney in extreme conditions.
