Came home with pic of REAL ghost from Mansion!

Maybe Disney has something set up for this but I didn't notice it while there. I shot about 400 MB of digital photos while at Magic Kingdom recently. Included were a pic of the front of the Haunted Mansion, the grave headstone with the opening eyes, and also a shot of the horse drawn caisson. In the photo of the caisson with the invisible horse my photo shows a purple aura right at the spot where the driver would be holding the reins.
Is this something Disney has set up so that photos will capture a ghostly image? Not sure how they would do that but it looks pretty cool. Just wondering if anyone has seen this before.
I'll attempt to include a copy of the photo here but not sure if the aura will show up or not.
(no, I do not believe it is a real ghost. Just a neat trick of light reflection or something like that. But kind of fun since it was at Haunted Mansion!)

That's so cool. I do believe it's something Disney has set up. As we were leaving the mansion earlier this month there was a photog there and the CM were asking if you wanted your pic with a "real ghost". I didn't know what they meant.

Great picture. I think it is just luck that you got that and not something they set up. But it does give a nice story to tell others and have them go and try to find it themselves.

The actual Disney photographers can add anything they want to a photo, that's not that difficult, those things are added afterwards with digital technology)... But a photo taken with your own camera having an orb in it is "not" something that Disney has set up. I worked at the Mansion for 3 years I assure you there is no photo projector or lighting effect there to make things appear. The OP's picture is very cool...Some of the CM's at the Mansion have pictures from inside and around the ride that have crazy things in them as well...There are photos of some of the girls in the Foyer and one of them has no feet (as if someone was in front of them blocking their feet from view)...there is also a photo of one of the guys up by the actual front door (not the door you enter in...the front door that you can see but can't get to) and there is clearly something there with him... I think you just got a great photo

While gilesdad's first picture is "authentic" (as far as I know),

MY posted image MAY have had a little, uuhh, "magic" APPLIED to it.
(If you look at the two images side-by-side you may see more than "a little" similarity between them.)

I just couldn't resist the temptation of Christmas Eve FUN.

While so much MAGIC at WDW is "real", some images seen on the web may be a bit more "adjusted".

Well now I'm confused. When I posted the original photo I read the replies about how DW has set up a system to superimpose an image onto folks' pictures. That sounded pretty neat. I was feeling pretty cool that I'd unexpectedly captured a hidden Disney trick on my camera. Then when I saw the hidden Mickey orb I thought, hmmm, I got gyped. I only got one ear in my photo. Then Robo confessed and left me even more curious than in the beginning.
Even though nobody knows me I will just say that the original photo is not doctored in any way. But the bad news is that it was transferred off the compact flash card to my hard drive. Then the flash card was formatted (erased) to make room for new pictures. So I no longer have the "original" photo on the flash card.
I still have no idea what I got on the picture to cause the strange effect, but it's obvious from Robo's picture that it is very possible to recreate the look. (by the way, how exactly did you do that? It does look almost exactly like what I have on my picture)
But for what it's worth....Scouts honor (actually I'm the Cubmaster for Pack 185 ) I haven't performed any "magic" on the photo. Just wanted to find out if there was something special at this Disney location to make the image show up.
If anyone wants to to recreate the photo with your camera I can tell you that it was taken on Wednesday Nov. 30th at 9:16 AM. It was blue skies and sunshine. Good luck!
