Well our last minute trip went well!
We got flights for the six of us for £1300 with monarch, car hire for £390 from dollar, villa with pool heat for £770 and Disney tickets for £1089.
We spent mainly all out time in mk and had a fab time with waiting times max 20 mins!
There were lots of cheer leading/graduating groups of older teens but the parks were fine crowd wise. We managed to get a sneaky peak into the new fantasy land which looks like it is coming on brilliantly! The tents are up for the new dumbo rides and the posts for the entrance way are in place! The castle also looks like it is nearly done on one side! Cannot wait till next october to see it all open!
The kids were delighted when I showed them the reveal video the night before it was definitely an unforgettable experience for them I hope they remember forever!! :cloud9:

Welcome back (to wet Britain) look forward to seeing some pictures!

And what lovely weather you have returned to :rotfl:

On a more exciting note.......51 days until I go :yay:

welcome home although I can understand that with the rotten weather we're forecast you'd rather be somewhere else! I was going to say that you need to book your next holiday to try to chase the blues away but you've already done that! Maybe writing a trippie will help? Love to read more about your trip anyway!

wow they are fantastic flight prices , how soon to departure did you book those ? maybe waiting til last minute does have its advantages

Just wanted to say I feel your pain :goodvibes

We came back at the beginning of April (meaning we missed the short period of nice weather over here) and it has been grey, wet and dull virtually everyday since :confused3

To beat the blues, I'm now planning another trip :rotfl: sometimes I think it's the best way of dealing with our weather!!

We booked two weeks before!

Wagneg posted a link to April flig deals with monarch, so we talked about it and booked just under two weeks before departure, the flight was nowhere near full and my little one got a seat next to us instead of sitting on my knee and my eldest two found two sets of three empty seats and had a sleep on them!!! :rotfl:

I think it is worth doing if you are not going in school hols! :thumbsup2
