Camcorders?

I am thinking about buying a camcorder before our trip this weekend. Last time we went to disneyland I brought a Flip hd. It was okay, but I am thinking about getting something better this time around.

Any thoughts? I think I am looking for something budget friendly... Under $300... That would be light weight and versatile, but good quality.

I used a Sony CX160 and the movies are absolutely stunning. Low light was excellent, easy to edit, easy to use..do not know what the price is, got it at costco. May want to go to WWW.camcorderinfo.com to check some out.
