Camcorder and Memory Card Question

I don't know if this is the right forum for this, but here goes. I will be leaving for BCV tomorrow morning and was wondering how the airport carry-on screening devices will affect:

- Digital 8 camcorder video tapes
- Digital Camera Compact Flash cards

Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Brian I have done 3 trips this year from Dulles(DC) to Orlando with both and have no problems with them going through security. I had no damage to anything.

I travel with a digital camera for work all the time. Screening will not harm your Compact flash card.
