Calling special occasion experts!

Ok, here's the scoop. We're headed to Disney in June, and part of our celebration is our 15th wedding anniversary (which is actually May 19, but being a teacher we have to wait til June for vaca). I've booked a table for 2 at California Grill, have arranged childcare for the boys, and need some ideas for something "special". I know I've seen posts here about special desserts, mini wedding cakes, etc but I'm having no luck searching the board.

Can any of you give me ideas and point me in the right direction?

I'll try, it is your 15th anniversary Congratulations on that special occasion! The mini cakes that I have read about on the DIS are said to be available at the GF. Maybe you can order them from the bakery at Grand Floridian and then get it delivered? Then again, CG may not allow a dessert from GF. Maybe, it could be delivered to your resort room? I'd actually like to know the answer to this also. Good luck

From what I've read here recently, you can order the special cakes from the GF bakery. Typically, they only deliver to GF, sometimes Poly and for concierge guests; however, you can always contact the GF bakery (I don't have a number but you could start with GF guest svcs and go from there) -- and find out for sure. I've also heard (but never tried) the Cinderella's glass slipper, which is white chocolate and about some Mickey themed desserts. I know that's not too terribly much help... I'd start with GF guest svcs and ask for their bakery.

What resort are you staying in, I would start by calling there and seeing what they have available through the kitchen.
