I just heard that the Toontown train station is going to be demolished May 3 to be rebuilt again and opening in June.

Can you confirm this?

Please say it isn't so?

Gee, I dunno...this is the first I've heard on it. I'll check around, and perhaps other DIS Board CM's that work in the MK may be able to provide an answer as well.

True! I am and engineer on the railroad and can confirm that May 3- June 11 are the scheduled dates for the Toon Town Station rehab. From what we have been told (obviously subject to change) it will not affect the trains as far as service to and from Main Street and Frontierland. They have told us that we will still be able to go through TT (as the water tower is there it is necessary to be able to get there) but we will not be allowing anyone to get on or off at that station. They have said that we will be just passing through it with the ability to stop every 2 or 3 trips to take on water...

Thanks for the info! That changes my touring plans around, as we always board the train at ToonTown. We need a break after Fantasyland!!

Thanks... gotta think about this. We usually like to board the train at Toontown to go back to the main station. Hmm... gotta start walking more... strenghten up those leg muscles.
