Calling MS..all day..25minute wait time...

So are people calling DVC MS today to book holidays for 2014/15 as i have tried to call many times today and its 15 -30minute wait time...

i just wanted to see if there was a cash ressie disc i could make at BWV for June 5-7th

For the last several months the phone wait time has averaged 10 to 40 minutes. My guess is that DVC has pulled people from taking phone calls to use them to sell Membership Magic and other internal functions.

Or they are just taking more time to assist people with MM+ and Magic bands.

I can attest to the time-taker that Magic Bands and My Disney Experience have become.

I've been to WDW 4 times since the advent of MBs and MDE and have yet to plan a trip that did not require at least an hour (and a couple of times it was more than one hour-long call) to get the MBs/MDE process to work.

I hate the long on-hold times these days, but if "everyone" (or even a large portion of "everyone") encounters issues like I have (they're different each time), then average time on the phone w/any member who calls in has to have increased substantially...

Hopefully, sooner rather than later Disney IT will get the system to work (all my issues have required IT intervention...none were "my stupidity"--altho there is a LOT of "stupidity potential" when it comes to me and making the computer work!)...

My actual wait time was less than I was initially given, but I had to talk to someone so I waited. For sure I took the survey and strongly indicated that I thought the wait time was unacceptable.

That was my thought...Magic Bands and FP+ taking up all the time.....I only had to call one time and that was cause i had 2 accts they said and i was locked out totally...
I was fortunate enough to have several of my DD friends one of whom is a TA answer many questions that I had....re: FP+ and MB....

I will admit with my family being at the BW & us only have 1/2 the time there..instead of going to SSR I opted to make a ressie at S&D for a good price...so we can at least meet on the BW or in E...
We didnt buy an AP this time so i wasnt in on any of the room deals...I understand of course this was our choice....

Waitlist didnt come thur and there again the rest of the family wanted a trip last minute in June....so you get what you get...they were fortunate to have 4 nites at the BWV ...

Well, the 31st is New Year's Eve...Most people would be booking more than just New Years Eve day, wouldn't you expect people to be booking like the 29th to the 2nd or so?
