ESTELLE :( That was a private message to LYNN. You peeked!

Want me to write my guess on a paper, seal it in an envelope and bring it along to open on Halloween??

You will be giving things away to people so that might make more space in your luggage for coming home. Also you could bring a soft sided bag or large tote bag for extras.

MIC--C you real soon,
KEY--Y? because we like you
Jan :earsgirl:

Kimmerie: Welcome! I loved the pictures!

Yay! Finally started packing today. I can imagine the blank faces starring at me.

At the moment my fun of counting down was ruined. I decided to read my sis's journal and I turned to a page where she said that my friends called me a pig and that my make up makes me look like a tramp. Err! She can sure spoil my fun even when she isn't around! Besides, I don't look to much like a dog:p

Rory--does your sister know you were reading her journal?
Jan--the bag weighs as much as a steamer trunk. Thank heavens for wheeled luggage. My carry on has soft sides and with only a few of the things I plan to bring also weighs a ton. I found a sweater and got the laundry done for the DH. Won't have to do it the moment we walk in the front door.
Took Phil and the girls out to dinner and two of them were cold. The adults wore light weight jackets. Oh wait a minute I mean the two mature adults wore jackets. The other two were complaining that it was cold. It was 60. Weather here has been really nice. Cool and a light breeze. Guess I shouldn't get used to it since we are about to head into much warmer weather.
Off to feed the felines.

Mickey...Y because they like it

Mouse...Donald Duck...they'll take either.

And no I do NOT feed them either mouse or duck.

Debby – Would LOVE help putting up the signs on the rooms on Thursday morning. We can make final plans on Tuesday on the Captain Marvin’s Excursion. Thank You!

Estelle – I didn’t want to ask, but I was wondering how you were going to repack on the cruise. If you need help sitting on suitcases, just give a shout!

Rory – I have done a lot of planning and made many list of ‘ToDo’s” but have not out one thing in a suite case yet. In fact most of the suitcases I plan to use are still in the attic!

Scott – Thanks for the Spa info. I was leading for the Taster too. As a Spa virgin myself (not counting manicures and pedicures) I am more than a little bit nervous, but ready to try it. I’ll remember your tip and not let anyone go to far above my knees!

Wendyhouse – Hoping you will confirm and become a stop on our T or T.

oh my goodness we're leaving in just over 24 hours and I am SO NOT READY!!!!

found our costume parts, have most of our clothes piled on the dining room table, am trying to put everything together, I would be fine if I didn't have to go to work tomorrow.......

so I was thinking, I'm not going to have time to put things together for the TorT, but would anyone's kids be interested in having their faces painted? I would be happy to do that if you think that would be fun? Let me know by Monday evening, but I will probably toss my gear in the suitcase anyway.

okay, going to go run around like a chicken with my head cut off a little bit more and then take a bath and go to bed.

--Kimmerie

Kimmerie - No Problem. Thanks for getting back to me! If you can, stop by the Lobby on deck 3 at 11 Am to see all the kids in costume. Didn't know you painted faces, what fun! My kids are going to be Cineralla and a pirate. Can't speak for anyone else, but no face painting needed for my crew. I could have used you a few years ago when my daughter was a clown.

To ALL: The T or T list is now closed! The signs are printing right now and then going to join the tickets and the Birth Certificates in our important cruise documents file.

Too close, too close, too close.

I'm not even remotely ready! There is SO much left to do and that darn "sniper" struck very close to us last night! It's made things even more frantic here.

The only thing that is ready is our Formal wear. That is it. I still have work to do on the costumes. I have to go through clothes to find what we are taking. Have to pack. Get the house ready (close the pool, which should have been done more than a month ago), do laundry, find what clothes still fit Trevor. Find what clothes still fit me  Get things ready.

Oh, what to do, what to do, what to do. Time is running out. We have to be packed and ready by Thursday morning. We are leaving when Steve get's home from work Thursday night at Midnight.

Anyone else as frantic as I am right now?

Sue Ellen

yes NJ,

one of my many odd talents is growing up the daughter of one of the head makeup artists at San Francisco Opera. If you want to see mee painted as some really odd things check out www.basingstoke.org - particularly the Family and Dolls pages!

I have missed the ages of the kids doing this, but if your Cinderella wants some glamour eyes and sparkles and your pirate wants a dashing moustache, I'd be glad to set them up! :)

And I will definitely come to the TorT kickoff on deck 3 and see everyone!!

--Kimmerie

YES!!! I'm driving my DH crazy!!! Too many things to list. I can't wait to board the plane Thursday morning. Patty:eek:

SueEllen: Yup! I am doing laundry right now as well as working on my lists of what to pack. Keep thinking about what needs to be added. Based on past history I will not put a thing in a suitcase before Tuesday evening and we leave on Wedesday morning. The sniper thing has me freaked out and we are about a 4 hour drive from the DC area. I can't imagine how you feel. Stay safe.

Kimmerie: Checked out the site! Wow, is all I can say. Have not yet checked out the wedding picture, but will do that soon. Our Cinderalla, Emily, is 5 and our pirate, Adam, is 3. I think I will take you up on your offer! I know my little girl loves to be made up! I have your room number so I will try to touch base with you once on board the ship. You can reach me in room 8584 and my name is Lynne. If you get to busy on the ship and you change your mind, that will be OK too, I will not say anything to kids until it is time to get into their costumes.

Kimmerie - Great wedding pictures. Looks like it was a blast!!! ANd the makeup pictures are unbelievable! The dolls, the makeup. Very impressive.

And the line for adult pace painting starts where????? :)

Sue Ellen - well, you are now in our prayers. I have a freind who works at UMD, and I email her every day or so to make sure everything is okay.

Printing off all the important stuff we need to know...checking and re-checking all the important threads....I so enjoy all of this preparing. But when I get on the ship, I completely realx. I go with the flow. BUt the pre-planning stuff is really fun for me.

We are packed except for toiletries. We leave Thursday night. Looking forward to meeting all of you.

We have all of our bags marked with green (Dis Boards) and pink ( Breast Cancer Awareness - make sure you do your self-exams this week, and for those whose time it is...make sure if you haven't already done it, to schedule your mammogram this year! And then make sure you mailed your contribution to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer foundation to help find a cure! Okay, I'll get down off my soap box now. :) ) ribbons so feel free to walk right up to us!

Have a great Monday!

Wow!!!! I go away for one weekend and you guys fill up three pages!!

WELCOME KIMMERIE!

We had a "Buddy Walk" here on Saturday it was to raise money and awareness for children with down's syndrome. What a great time we had!! Right after that was over we drove out to Disney. Stayed at OKW. We went to Epcot on Saturday night, it wasnt too crowded. Sunday morning we went to AK. That was EMPTY!!! The kids went on the dino rides, saw the bug show and tarzan rocks. Then we went over to MK. We ate at Liberty Tavern for the first time. The food is YUMMY!!!:p

Then we had MNNSHP. What fun. Just as our evening was wrapping up, guess who we met. Our very own Ginger. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I was so happy to finally meet someone. I was wearing my Halloween cruiseer shirt and she noticed it and thus started our talking.

Anyway, it was a great weekend. Except we did not get home until 1:45am and all had to get up for school and work today:o

Well, thats all for now.

Dena:earsgirl:

Sue Ellen--Hope everything is okay with the sniper problem. Our DDs have been telling us we have to call home Wednesday evening so they know we are in S. Carolina. And they know we won't even be on the eastern side of Virginia.
We have the cruise clothes packed but still have to pack for the other 5 days. The laundry is done. The cat food and dog food is bought. So I have calmed down a little. I still have to fill up the carry on. Of course that won't be a problem. I even managed a trip to the gym this morning.
Well off for now as I have to meet DH at the day care center and do a paper run. We do this about once every two weeks and with us being gone for almost two weeks we have to do it today. So I'm outa here.
PS. Kimmerie if you happen to find time to do some adults faces I would love it. Estelle

DENA: How neat for you to have met GINGER! What a good idea to have worn your Cruiser shirt!

KAREN: Pink and green ribbons--good recognition system. Thanks for the reminders for mammograms and self exams. We can never be reminded to often--it is easy to get complacent.

ESTELLE: A paper run?
Now you HAVE got me curious!! I thought I knew what "witch-not-a-witch" you were going to be BUT the last comment made me think of several others that would fit the description. I know which one I HOPE you are however..... (:)as it would make for a good photo op.....:))

TOM refined my plan for packing so now we have less to tote onto the ship and less need to do laundry while on the cruise.
The Halloween bags are packed--two carry-on size wheeled suitcases. The clothing suitcases are ready but open--just in case. Costumes are done except for handwork on one piece which I will do as we travel. My carry-on is close to done--cruise documents are in there.
Tom's business meeting is scheduled for Wednesday AM, so tomorrow I see three patients, come home, finish loading food in the RV and we head out. We camp Tuesday night, he attends meeting Wednesday and when he is done, we head further south :)

:) BE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR CRUISE DOCUMENTS, PASSPORTS or BIRTH CERTIFICATES and a PHOTO ID!! :)

:PinkbouncSee you soon:Pinkbounc,
Jan :earsgirl:

Okay Jan-- the paper run has nothing to do with the witch or whatever. The paper run involves a trip to the Restaurant Store. The day cares use lots of paper products. Phil and I pick up cases of the various paper things. Towels, tissues, toilet paper, plates and etc.
The photo op may be interesting. Pictures of a witch MELTING, help me I'm... The costume is quite heavy.
Jan--in case you don't get to post again. You and Tom have a good trip. We'll see you Friday PM at the Rad. We are due to leave here about 8 AM on Wednesday. I have so much still to do.
Everyone have a good evening. I will be back tomorrow. Estelle

ESTELLE: OK--now I am even more confused:confused:
"Help me I'm melting" does not fit with what I had envisioned:(
Oh well, I guess I really will be surprised:rolleyes:

I will be checking the DIS tonight but may not be able to tomorrow what with patients, packing and leaving.

Travel safely all! :)
:PinkbouncSee you all soon :Pinkbounc
Jan :earsgirl:

Have a great and safe trip Jan!

I'm in OK for my last night, home by 3 pm tomorrow and I feel calm. I think it may be the calm before the storm though! LOL

I really think I'm pretty much ready and I don't think I'm overpacking (clothes-wise) - I do plan on doing laundry (undies/socks/tshirts/pjs) once in the middle of the trip - maybe on Cozumel day when everyone goes ashore. We don't have an official excursion that day and may wander in town a bit and/or hit Carlos & Charlies - I've been to Cozumel twice and loved it, but it was back in the days when you were safe renting a moped and cruising the island. We may decide to do something, but want to see how the kids are adjusting to the clubs first.

The kids are getting very excited - we talk about how many more days every single day and they are helping pack their suitcases.

I can't believe we're under 5 days!!!!

Welcome Kimmerie. All of your photos are great.

I was going to ask when everyone is leaving but several of you have included your plans in your recent posts. We are leaving Thursday morning after I return from the dentist. Don't worry, I don't expect this procedure to interfere with my ability to eat on the cruise. ;)

Estelle: I'll bet if you wanted to vacuum pack for the trip home the room steward would let you use their vacuum. Patty, the steward we had on the last cruise had a neat compact vacuum that DH really liked.

Still not packed but everything is ready to go except for some ironing & our family vacation shirts. I hope I get them done in time. I could if I did not have to work. However, if I did not work, how would I pay for the cruises?
I will try to check in again before we leave. Everyone travel safely.

Rochelle

Sure, I will paint grownups too! Aren't we all kids at heart (and at Disney?)

I am at that packing point where if I had to leave the house with what I have already packed then I would be fine, and now I am trying to find all the extra stuff I want to bring. Naturally, since we moved in May and I am the worst mover on the planet, I can't find ANYTHING and all of it is still in boxes....

Does anyone know if they can help me find my Leave A Legacy tile if I have no clue where my paperwork is??

Going to go pack my makeup case with sparkles and the like, since I know where those are... :)

wendyhouse,

just go to the CM's at Leave a Legacy and tell them what you need. They will look up your location for you.

We have started packing, 3 more days of work, we leave Thursday around 2pm, staying the night in Columbus before our flight Friday morning.

Dan
