Today I got my formal wear. It's a meidum sky blue and has a white flower design. It's very frizzy at the bottom. I love it!

Rory-My friends made fun of me like you wouldnt believe over that! They said half the film was spent with me crying and the other half I was enjoying the serious eye candy! So true!

Your dress does sound nice, Im looking forward to seeing it. Can you use your make up with it? I use a purple eyeshadow quite often and it looks cool cos my eyes are green.

It is a steamy 85 or so here today - supposed to get our first real cool front tomorrow - at least with this weather, we're prepared for the heat in Florida and such. I am fighting larangytis (sp?) which I just had in February - WHAT is the deal? It better be better in 2 weeks! Last time it lasted about 4 days so there's hope

We're off to the mall tonight - DS needs some khakis for his non-formal nights so we'll look for those and I'm buying a winter coat that obviously won't be coming on the cruise, but should be handy when we get back and move less than a week later!

Pallamb Palo dinner ressies for you on Saturday 8:30pm. Also recipe cards from Epcot for desserts.YUMMY!

We still have alot to do to get ready for our trip to WDW so I may not post again but I will check back in before I leave.

Ginger, our room changed to 6556 - didn't know if you saw that for the Palo's brunch reservations.

I think the general thought was if enough people were there early (at the Radisson) they could do dinner, but then we'd have a later pool meet (7-8 or so?) for those coming in later. That would include us!

Everything else sounds good - have a blast with the beginnng of your trip!

I get 23 for the total of torters. I have a suggestion for those who orderedfrom Oriental Traders, check the items. I just went thru Jans and mine and found a couple with a part missing. Not a big deal for us since we have plenty of the items and I have the missing part from some other items. Also I have to make copies of the directions for the ones that need same. Just a little extra thing I have to do.
We have started going over the suitcases and carry ons and are "discussing" what will fit and will there be any room for necessities like underwear. I have to be careful not to bring a big bottle of shampoo. There won't be room. OH well I will get everything in no matter what. And I have to remember that the weather will be WARM like summer and humid, like Florida. All of which I already knew. Thank you dear.
Do we have a time for the Rad. yet? I haven't seen any thing official, so I guess we will just visit the pool off and on during the early evening. And definately be there around 7:30. Time is just flying by. I am getting so excited. Going to my friend Sues' tomorrow to pick up pants, costume and evening gown. So they will be ready to pack. I think I can actually pack the costume and the gown tomorrow night. Neither one is especially wrinkly. So packing 12 days ahead isn't going to do any damage. I can pack most of my shirts too. So that will be good too. Luckily I don't have to pack anything for the DH he can handle his own.
We have flags here around the house or at the day care that I can bring so that isn't a problem for us. Have the lime green ribbon ready to make bows or something with. That is a job for the car on the way down.
Weather here has been cool and damp. Actually had several days of rain. We are caught up for the month but are still 7 or 8 inches short on the year. We grumble a bit about the rain but admit that we need every drop we get. Our back yard is finally mostly green. The brown spots have disappeared.

Since we could not find the costumes we wanted in a catalog or on e-bay, I am sewing them. We bought most of the needed parts today. A few more will have to be obtained, but I have 9 days in which to do that--no last minute work here

ESTELLE: They provide shampoo with conditioner on the ship. As I recall it is a mixture in a little packet you tear the top off like hot sauce at Taco Bell. I am bringing my own, because my hair is so fine that my hairdresser says I need special stuff, but most people do fine with what the room steward provides and that will save you space in your luggage. I will bring my shampoos home to share as souvenirs. One friend told me to bring her anything I like as she will never get to go on a cruise and this is how she can enjoy it.

Meeting at the pool at the Radisson between 7 and 8 sounds like a plan. We have NO idea when we will arrive as Tom may have a business meeting enroute and who knows how long that will take, or at this point, which day it will be on.

I'm really getting excited. I'm trying to get everything together and it's tough. Costumes have changed a bit again. Oh well! We'll have it straight by Halloween!

We are getting so excited here. DH and I got all of our dinner clothing together last night to see if we needed to buy anything else, shirts, slacks, ties, etc. Fortunately all that is needed is 1 pair of slacks for Hubby. DD is all packed. And I just got my film and post cards today. So I think I am ALL set.

It has been SOOOO HOT here the past 4 days. When you walk outside you feel like you are going to melt. I hope it will cool down some soon. We are going to the MK a week from today for MNNSHP. CANT WAIT!!!!

LYNNE: Did you get the popcorn coupons yet?

PATTY: we would love flags, let me know how much they cost.

I have 24 Tor T bags. I keep adding new things to them.

We will be at the radisson around 5:30 or 6:00. So I will be at the pool looking for everyone by 7.

It is freezing here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have packed our shorts and sandals...Dadgummit!

We are getting very excited! The clothes are getting laid out and separated and packed!!!!

We went to a Halloween party this past weekend, and it was a kids party, and the adults were all GORED and BLOODIED out (ropes around their necks and knives in their heads and such)! It totally freaked out DD (3 yrs). All this time, we have been preparing her for a FUN HALLOWEEN! Books, and Playhouse Disney, and all that, and she had the most terrifying night of her life. DH and I were saying that I am sure some people at WDW will follow the rules, but there will be a few who don't, and we will just have to focus on Mickey and Minnie and the other characters! UGH

Did I say TWO WEEKS from now we will be at sea?????

Rory and Emma - I can hardly wait to see ya'll dressed up! (and the rest of you for that matter) Formal nights are some of my favorite times.

We will miss the meet at the Rad becasue we will be at MNSSHP. We will try and make an appearance at the sail away party. But if not, we have green ribbons tied everywhere. And if you are unsure who we are...I am blond haired (except for my black roots which should be resolved by cruise time!) and DH is strikingly Italian...DD looks exactly like him. Nothing like me. (no kidding) I am like the part of the "One of these things is not like the others..." That is us.

I agree, this would be a good time for the postcard & treat exchange. I felt a little silly buying 40 post cards! LOL (I hope that was a good number! LOL)
