Congratulations Andrea!

I hope you can afford to do something else in place of the cruise, so you could plan that instead.... of course there is all the planning for the new baby!

Dear Andrea,
Best wishes!

We will miss having you on the cruise but understand that you must do what is best for the little one.
I hope you can find another event to plan as well as planning for the baby so that your skills, talents and enjoyment are exercised.

Any thought of taking an earlier cruise?

My Halloween stuff came today. I can't believe how quickly it arrived.

PYRD--You are right. Ginger deserves a standing ovation and maybe even a toast at Palos Champagne Brunch! :D

Did anyone find out if we can do that Brunch on Sunday morning before docking at Key West?? Wouldn't that be fun to be in Palo watching the approach to Key West! How elegant!

Jan :earsgirl:

Thanks Ray and Jan, but really it's nothing. I love searching and sharing.

Yes, on the first Western cruise Palo did serve Brunch on Sunday form 10:30 to 12:00. It would be nice to be seated in Palo as we make our approach to Key West. But, I don't think it would be a good day for all of us to have our group brunch. As it happened last year our reservation times were staggered, they would only except 12 of us the first 1/2 hour then 10. We were all seated close together but not together, usually 6 per table. We brunched for well over 2 hours last year. It was very nice and relaxing not rushed to go anywhere. Also keeping in mind that we will be going into port and those families with children may need the morning time to get everyone organized for their fun filled a shore. Monday or Thursday may be better for everyone as a group. Then which ever morning we don't do Palo we could have our room to room Trick-or-Treat and a nice lunch in one of the dining rooms with the children.

We have early dinner seating. What does everyone else have????

Ray and Tony have a great time at the World, I wish I could be there too.
Down to 5 months.
Don't forget to order your tee-shirts from Ray.

.Tee Shirts

We have late seating dinner.

YAHOO!!!!!

Patty it will be a long 5 months. I can't wait......

WOW how did I miss this thread ? :D

Were be there on the Magic Halloween cruise, flying in from London a few days earlier.

Dave (theFatman, 42)
DW Bev(40) (were celebrating our 20th wedding aniversary)
DD Nicola (7 going on 21),
DS James (5),
and our friends
Rick(40) and
Heather(40).

This will be the second Magic cruise for us adults and first for the kids.

I hope Disney can give us a clear answer before we leave as to their plans to move the second formal night or just change it to Halloween, it will make a huge difference in the ammount of baggage we have to drag across the Atlantic :p

Off to look at the T shirts...cool idea.

And hope to get to know you all a bit better before we sail.

Dave

We've been waiting for you.
Will you be staying at a Disney World resort during your few days stay?

My DD Ashley is 5, she be with your son James in the Oceanears Club.

Dave please read all the post on this thread. So far we have a few plans in the making. We hope your family and friends will be joining us.
Trick-or-Treat!!!!:bounce:

DAVE--Welcome aboard!! :D

I never did the DIS before recently and have been having a great time getting to know our fellow cruisers.

We were in London and then drove to the Hagley area for the wedding of our niece last spring. We enjoyed your city but it sure is PAVED. My feet hurt. We were told by a lot of friends that ladies do not wear athletic walking shoes in London so I should wear something more dressy so as to not stick out. However they warned me that as soon as I opened my mouth I would sound like a colonist anyway. I should have taken that as a warning and just taken my white walking shoes anyway.

Looking forward to meeting you.

Jan :earsgirl:

hello, wow we have another brit on board! I'm from a small place near liverpool and I support man united (an essential fact you needed to know). 4 days till the world cup!

Thanks for the welcome guys,
cruising on the Magic again felt good but knowing theres going to be a whole bunch of DISer's there will be even better :D
Looking forward to seeing some meet plans evolve.

My kids are so excited, they've seen all our pics and videos from the last cruise and seem to have a new question about the cruise each day.

We have a villa in Orlando so we'be staying there a few days before and after the cruise. We're back again at Christmas for our main visit to the parks, so before and after the cruise we're be doing some non Disney things like Boggy Creek airboats, and the Mount Dora train trip, and of course a little shopping and LOTS of eating (gotta get in training for the cruise) :D

Dave

just a small question, what does a 14 year old girl wear to an opera? I wanna wear a dress but im not sure how dressy I should be, any help wud be great

I vote for a nice dress. Dressy but not too flashy.....but I have never been to an opera. What does anyone else think?

Emma--where is the opera and what are you seeing?

Jan :earsgirl:

the opera is about 2 hours away from where we're staying and it's in a big ampitheatre lit by huge flame thingys. It's carmen
