Calling from UK to make adrs question

well we have booked our 2009 holiday and got free dining but am getting worried about making the call to book them. BT would have a field day charging me for these calls and wondered how other uk mickey lovers do it?

i am sure online reservations start soon (sure it was octoberish), do try to make adr's during free dining, we have just got back and i did make some resies but i just could not think of making resies 180 days before we go.

i use skype, its free to download the software, they do charge VAT on top ups though, it costs about £11.50 to add £10 of credit to your account.
but ive been on the phone to disney for about half hour before and its only cost me something stupid like 25p.

We use skype as well, it really is very cheap.

I have Sky for my phones as well as TV and all my calls to the US are free. It's great!

I use 18185, you can register online and just dial 18185 before number you are dialling, think it cost 1/2p per min plus 5p connection charge. Just as well as i've lost count of the number of times I've called

Thats about right, no-one should pay more than 1p/min to US. Plenty companies here all 1p/min.

I can't be bothered personally with the cheap deals. I'm on the Virgin home phone service and rang twice this month at about 10pm to make my ADRs. The two calls totalling about 25 mins cost less than £4. I don't think that's bad!

All you do is enter 0844 861 78 78 on you phone to save £3.75 on a 25 min call.
But to me its not a matter of saving money I see it as totally wasted money, for sake of pressing 11 numbers. $6 more to spend in Florida instead of going to phone co.

I think Virgin must be the highway robber - not robin hood! I only pay £5 a month for all my calls to the Uk and International - £4 for a couple of calls to the US sounds very expensive!
