Calling Everyone Going In December

We'll be in a Grand Villa at OKW from December 4-9. I can't wait!

So far, airfare is bought, passes are bought, MVMCP tickets are bought (we're going Thursday, December 8), towncar is booked, itinerary is done (I used last year's hours), Q&C Vouchers bought, Disney Rewards Card has been loaded, most of our toiletries are bought.

I only have one PS to make.

I have to save our food and spending money now.

So far I have:

POFQ reservations for 12/2-12/9, one room for my family and one room for my parents. Deposit only paid, will pay all in two weeks.

Finally booked my flights yesterday when I came across $59 flights on the Song website.

Plan to buy park tickets online early October.

I'm still undecided about:

Where we will eat
If we will get a rental car
If we will go to MVMCP, not sure if it is worth it since my kids tend to like to go to bed early.

Hi! Getting close to the double digits!!

I was just wondering where you guys are in terms of planning the trip. I've: Paid for the hotel and bought the passes. I've made PS at LTT for MVMCP. Yesterday I bought the non refundable plane tickets and MVMCP tickets.

It's really hitting me now. We are REALLY going!!! :cheer2:

I haven't been able to plan the days at the parks yet because the hours aren't out yet. I'll be doing that in October.

How about you guys?

How did you make PS at LTT? I thought it had to be 90 days out. Also, what time did you make them for? Does it coincide with the end of the park day and the beginning of MVMCP?

I made the ressie for LTT at the time I purchased my MVMCP tickets. LTT and Tony's Town Square are open for reservations then. My seating is for 5:40.

If you already have your tickets, you may still be able to do this. It can't hurt to call and ask.

We are headed down Nov 26th-Dec 4th. We are staying Boardwalk Concierge Deluxe room-can't wait. Everything is paid for. Now saving spending money as well as for the Princess Tea Party and the Wildlife Discovery Excursion. Christmas party tickets are in hand and the wonderful girls at the IPO planning office are going to take care of all our ADRs including the Candlelight Processional Dinner Package. Hope to see some Disers there! :cool1:

OK, here goes ...

We'll be there 12/6 - 12/14.
Room is paid for, APs are in hand. Airline tickets are purchased. No rental car this time. Using ME.

I just booked MVMCP tickets and dinner at Tony's.

Have about half of our spending money saved -- I would say we're pretty well on our way. :earboy2:

HI Folks

Thought I was long overdue in dusting off my ID here - stop the lurking and join the fun ! :cool1:

I've just booked a once in a lifetime trip for my wife and I during our Anniversary this winter (7 years of marriage - 12 years together - not bad for 2 thirtysomethings). We've had a rough year but things are on the up so we decided to max out the credit cards and do something special !

Our itinerary (so far) is:-

British Airways flights from Glasgow - London / Londo - Orlando.
Town Car pickup at airport (probably Quicksilver again - had great service from them last year)

25th November - 8th December - Poly lagoon view (requested upper floor, non smoking marina view in Fiji) - 13 nights on the dining plan :earboy2:

8th December - 12th December - Grand Floridian Lodge Concierege (again requested upper floor, non smoking marina view and king size bed :rolleyes1 no dining plan this time).

Total of 17 nights !

Hopefully doing the MVMCP on December 8th (Dinner at LTT before) and the Wildlife Discovery Excursion (gives us something to use the Concierge for :bounce: :Pinkbounc .

We are both really excited and looking forward to the trip - last year we spent 2 fantastic weeks at Pop! so here's hoping the Poly and GF are as incredible as they look.

Cheers

Colin

Thats the plan ! Im going to order one of the wedding cakes with the chocolate mouse filling with the Mickey and Minnie on top and have that in our room on the Friday night. Beyond that I'd be open to suggestions !

Thanks

Hiya  My family will be flying over 8th Dec for 2 weeks. We are staying on IDrive for 9 days and on 17th are heading over to POR for last 5!! So far ive booked the train to airport, the hotel at Gatwick London, the taxis for coming home, the dog into the kennels, the flights, insurance, the hotels in Orlando, 5 park flex and 7 day magic your way premium tickets for all, MVMCP for 18th, Tonys for dinner on 18th, and so far purchased half of the spending money I will be taking.......think thats the lot!! Now all I have to do is save, save, save!!! :rotfl:

We will be there 11/29 to 12/06. Have BWI booked 4 nites, AKL 3 nites. Deposits made for those. We have park tickets left over from last year's trip. Bought MVMCP for 12/02. Have not puchased air yet. ME will save me some money. Buying all I can (and trying to pay off as quickly as possible) on my Disney Visa for the Reward Dollars. Waitin on my 90 day mark for ADR's.

Here's our December plans:

12/3 - San Francisco to Orlando DME to Pop Century for 1 night since we arrive at 5:30pm

12/4 - 12/7 at Grand Floridian (std). MVMCP on 12/4 with ressies at CP; then Grand Adventures in Cooking for DS on 12/6

12/7 - 12/10 at Beach Club (std). CP on 12/7 with ressies at Teppanyaki; also Pirate cruise for DS on the same day

12/10 - 12/12 at Royal Pacific Resort (Club) for Front of the line access to Universal and Island of Advent. Oh, Tchoup Chop ressies for 12/11

Yes, I am definitely a Disney nut to split 3 resort stays in one week, especially hauling 2 small children. But it was fun in May when we split stays between AKL and POLY. Couldn't decide which resort in December so decided to stay in both GF and Beach Club!

Happy planning everyone!

Dec 6th-11 @ CSR, room is paid for, ADR's are made. Next month I will be buying our tickets. Having been making a trip every few weeks to a Disney Character outlet near our house to pick up T-Shirts and other gifts at a discount price.

For our trip Dec 18-26 at the Poly, so far I have:

2 GV rooms with 8 day PHs and Dining Plan booked, 1/2 paid now, paying the rest off this month.

8:15 CP on 12/24 booked with dinner at LeCellier
MVMCP tix in hand

90 day mark is one week from today, so I have to finish up ADR plans

My itinerary still needs some working but I am hoping to have it done by the time I am ready to make ADRs next Sunday, the pressure is on now.

I am working at the savings and so far we have 200.00 in Disney money for the kids (this is allowance so far for all five kids), also have about 750.00 between change jar and savings.

We are driving down again so I have 90.00 in gas cards from Mypoints saved up so far, and I am hoping to be able to get more before the trip.

We will be at WDW from 12/2 through 12/10. We are booked at POR for a couple days and then will move to Marriotts Cypress Harbor. We have more ADRs or whatever they call them now, (old PS), than we can use. We have old tickets that we plan to use up. Our rental car is booked. Our itinerary is pretty well planned, but may change a littel when the hours come out and we have our MVMCP tickets. All we have left is to book our flight (prices are still about $100 higher than what we have paid in the past) and to save money for eating and spending. We are going on a Western Caribbean cruise on 12/10, so we need to save a lot of money. I can't wait. Debby

I've made hotel Ressies, got MVMCP tickets, and checked on DDE card, which I was advised to get in November. Now I am thinking of adding a day to my ressie to get my plane tickets cheaper. Hopefully I can get all this done this week.

Hi!

We will be at Disney on December 8 - 12 staying for the first time at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, Deluxe Savanah View. I am so excited - this is our (DH, ME, DS9, DS7, DS4) at the World during Christmas. I haven't really planned anything yet...i don't know why - maybe it's because we were just there on June 28th - July 7th.....I can't wait!
