Calling Disney Dining, If at First You Don't Succeed...

Okay, I wanted a 10:00 am ADR at Boma for January 8 (a Tuesday), not exactly what I would think of as a hot reservation. I called yesterday in the morning and was told, "Nope, nothing available all morning. Too bad for you." I did a little more research and decided we'd try the Yacht Club Galley instead. A few hours later I called to make our YCG ADR and thought I'd ask again about Boma. The lady at the other end of the line asked, "What time would you like?" They had a table for two at every single time slot including 10:00. I seriously doubt that many cancellations had poured in in the space of less than four hours.

So, the lesson I learned is that if you're shut out on your first call, call back and talk to a different person. You never know.

I had a similar experience this week with Liberty Tree. On Tuesday,I was told that there was nothing for the entire week of our stay. I called yesterday and was told there were several time slots in the early evening all week.
