CMboy, I have a question for you...I read your tips on getting room/views. However, are you likely to get your requests the earlier you check in.:scratchin I know that requests aren't guaranteed. Thanks so much!

I'm not him, but I can answer...

Always make a note of your requests on your reservations. Central Reservations just got a new reservation system that will link up much better with our new property management system that will be debuting sometime later this year. Gone will be the days of having to call or fax 5 days out.

When checking in, the earlier you check in, the better the selection of rooms that will be open to choose from. However, keep in mind, most of those rooms will not be available until later, as they could possibly still have people who haven't checked out yet.

Bottom line though... requests are just that... requests... and they cannot always be granted. Best bet is to prioritize, and figure out what you really want, and what you could do without.

Chip 'n Dale Express,
We wont be arriving until 8-9pm(driving 17 hrs.). Also we need two rooms together. I dont really have any requests other then non parking lot view.
So does this mean that we will be out of luck getting good rooms.
TIA
Betsy

I am really glad to hear this. I have requested a bunkbed room at WL. We will be checking in around 11am. I sure hope we can get bunkbeds.

I'm not Tyler but maybe I can answer. Have you requested connecting or adjoining rooms already? I believe that in most cases if you are a family that needs two rooms, they can give you connecting rooms. We did this on one trip and we were with another family but they were still able to give us connecting rooms. Adjoining are rooms next to each other, connecting have a doorway to access each room without going outside. I think I have that right. If you haven't requested that, I would call and do so.

Generally speaking, Disney will try thier best to make sure the two rooms are together. Nothings guaranteed, but it really depends on the resort, and current occupancy, as to how well requests can be granted.

Worst case scenario, you can room change the next day if need be.

If I was getting there that late, I'd just stay at a cheaper room off property. You can then check in to Disney early the next day and still get the full day in the park and more likely get the room you want.
