Ok here's the situation. My best friend and I have a trip planed to Walt Disney World in September, with the free dining. But not there is a possiblity that she may back out. If she does I plan to invite another friend to go with me instead. The problem is... he is a vegetarian and I have already made all of our ADRs, not considering vegetarian options available. So could anyone tell me what vegetarian options are available at these restaurants or possibly suggest some others that we could change to that offer more vegetarian selections.

Here are what we have as of now:

Raglan Road
Coral Reef
'Ohana
Crystal Palace (breakfast)
Le Cellier
50's Prime Time Cafe

If anyone has any info please let me know. And like I said, if you can possibly suggest other restaurants it would also be appreciated! :thanks:

Have you looked at the Menu's at allearsnet.com & ourlaughingplace.com? That might Help. I have had the veggie option at CR BBQ tufu with Soba noodles outstanding, & the veggie option at France.

Surprisingly, there are a lot of options out there for vegetarians, especially at breakfast. I don't know if I'm the only vegetarian that does not like the standard Boca burgers (that taste like beef, at least to me...), but this is what WDW serves. I didn't expect that when I ordered a veggie burger, I was expecting the kind of visible vegetables...just something to keep in mind! I know Ragland Road has risotto, which I'll be trying in Sept! The others, I'm not sure...but definitely check out the menus like the previous poster suggested. Allearsnet also has a vegetarian section. Have a great time whoever you go with!! :thumbsup2

How strict a vegetarian is he? Will he eat eggs and dairy? Does he occasionally eat fish?
I'm ovo-lacto vegetarian (eat eggs and milk) and DH is vegan (no eggs or dairy) and we both found plenty to eat at WDW last year. I think all of the restraunts you listed already have standard vegeatrian items on the menu (check allearsnet.com as others have suggested to be sure), and I've read that if you let them know, any of the places will make accomodations for stricter diets (such as vegan). When we called to make ADRs we specifically asked about one of the places we has selected ('Ohana's for breakfast) and the CM said it was listed as accomodating vegetarians and vegans, so you could also call the dining line.
If you think you might want to change some of your ADRs, Boma at AKL has a great reputation with vegetarians, so you might think about adding that one. I've also heard that Kona is particularly Veggie-friendly too. I've also heard Jiko at AKL and Artist Pointe at WL are excellent veggie options but I think they are both 2 TS credits and might not be worth it to you. DH and I enjoyed Crystal Palace for dinner last year and we had no trouble with counter service either. We like Boca Burgers though. Columbia harbour House has a great veggie sandwich and veggie Chili. So I don't think you are gonna have a problem unless he is very strict vegan, and even then if you ask around you will find stuff. :thumbsup2

He definately eats eggs and milk so that wouldn't be a problem but he doesn't eat seafood. We really enjoyed Boma last year so if it works out that he can go I will probably add Boma. I was particularly worried about 'Ohana because the meal seems to focused on the meats, but did a search and read about a stir-fry or a lo-mein they have served vegetarians in the past and I think he would enjoy either of these. Thanks!
