See the round crop fields to the left of the red pin?

What crops are planted in circles like that? And why?
I'm thinking different crops since they are different colors, but still don't understand why.

thank you. I knew there had to be a reason. Interesting. And so PERFECTLY laid out.

I kept coming up with crop cirlce answers & knew that wasn't right.

I wonder if they do anything with the wasted corners.
