Hi Alaska! What's the weather like today?

Cold, overcast, gray... perfect day to go shoot rain drop photos (except the leaves are not out yet). I love shooting photos... I wish there was a market for scenery photos. Some day perhaps....

I'm great. I've been trying to get the DS's tired all afternoon but, after 5 hours, they're still running around and I'm downstairs on the computer completely exhausted!

How do you SAHM's do it? This, and I have to watch them all day tomorrow, too!

Hey the trick is to let them tire themselves out! I'm lucky my son and daughter love to play together and keep themselves occupied most of the time. Find activities that they can engage in without you or have them help you with yardwork or something to keep busy.

Hi Elaine! I sure hope it doesn't rain here because my husband wants to stain our deck tomorrow.

I'm watching an interesting movie on PBS now called "That's Dancing!" It is really interesting and nice to see a retrospective of dance in the movies.

It turned out to be a crummy day today. My husband was going to paint but can't because it is raining. That about does it for outdoor activities. Luckily my son is at the circus today. My daughter has a friend over who will be leaving soon. I promised her I'd bring her to Five Below in a few minutes. Do you have a Five Below where you live?

Some scary news here. A 5 y.o. girl went missing last night at around 6 p.m. (Even though there's no official AMBER alert, which I think they should do!!)

Five below has stuff that costs $5 and less-- it's almost entirely kid's stuff. Everything from computer CD's to makeup to candy to books to magic stuff. The kids love to go there.

Hi everyone! I'm stuck in the house all day today because I have someone here making a new front stoop and I'm having a new bed and mattresses delivered for my guest room (two different companies). I ordered a wood/wicker daybed with a pop up trundle. I am not a fan of daybeds but that is what worked out best for my small guest room which had a full size bed in it until yesterday. That bed was too small for guests. Now I'll have more options in there. I ordered it online. I saw some prices online for the exact same bed that were almost $1000 more than I paid so if you ever order anything be sure to shop around! My stoop guy is already here and one delivery is from 9-12 and the other 12-3.

We had a cold night last night. It went down to 40 I think.

Good morning All is well in Alaska. We're down to our final 2 days before our AZ trip.
Got a second laptop last night so I no longer have to share w/my son!! It's used but it's almost as good as our brand new one we bought in Oct.


Alaska is sitting @45 degrees this morning I am giggling you got down to 40 LOL
