How do you decide which client you will work on first for the GP? Is it alphabetical? By date? By Resort? Im just curious how that usually works! I wanted to ask my TA but I dont want her to think Im asking her to pick me first ( I wont mind if Im first ! haha but I dont expect it at all!)

How do you decide which client you will work on first for the GP?

Whoever sends the least amount of emails with changes to resorts, dates and even people traveling move to the front of the line.

Awww man this means Im going last!!!!! At least now I know!!!!!

First, we look at which clients have resorts that qualify, then try to change all to FD all in one phone call, the CMs who handle TA calls are used to this. Then on that phone call we start with the resort most likely to fill up the FD slots first.

If a client has to change resorts or wiggle a date (and does not have flights yet) we call or email them first. Some clients give us permission to change within certain parameters without checking with them first, but not many. Other have asked us to split to room only and a FD package to fit into the promo parameters too.

Also, if a client has insurance already attached to their reservation then that is a priority because they can't cancel their original ressie and book a new one online.

If there is a resort where I am particularly concerned about availability, those are the reservations I work on first. Otherwise, I start with the clients who booked first and work my way out from there. I can typically get everyone covered in one call.
