Calling all SINGLE solo travelers

Taking my 5 year old daughter and coming down from Iowa... and thanks to this message board we actually have a date with a guy and his son and they love everything Disney!

It's been great to get to know him better over the past few weeks online and in just a few short weeks :hourglass we will have a chance to meet up. He is a awesome father and it will be a great honor to spend time with him!

Who knew??? :rolleyes1

I'm the father taking the 6 year old, and rhiansmom, the honor is all mine. :earsboy: We are looking forward to our trip as well, and we are excited about our date as well! A complete trip report will be coming soon! Funny how fate works sometimes! :earsboy: I agree, who knew????? :)

It looks like I will also be missing most of you! I'll be at WDW June 21- July 1, celebrating my 21st birthday with my mom! :cake: Definitely counting :hourglass down the days until we leave!

It's good to know that I'm not the only princess: looking for her Prince Charming!

 Katdb

Love That Mouse and Rhiansmom... I hope you have a great trip with your kids, and a lovely date!! :)

Hey all,

I’m a 22 year old single male; a senior in college (graduate in May! :cool1: ) – in fact, leaving for WDW a few hours after my graduation ceremony (as my graduation present - going with my Dad). I figure solo trips will come into play after I start working and stuff.

Haven’t met anyone (females, that is) who I gel with… nevermind liking Disney as I do. Friends at school just don’t understand. However, I’m always open to chat with others. And if you’ll be down there at the same time as me, I’d love to arrange a time to meet!

Kyle

:wave2: Congratulations on your graduation  and your trip to WDW with your dad. I'm a divorced dad who would love to take son (DS-20) to WDW with me. He's too busy with school right now. :sad2: Hope you and your dad have a great time!! I'll have to plan toward a graduation trip. I notice we are fellow Alabamians. I'm from LA (Lower Alabama) near Andalusia. :earboy2:

What the heck. I'll jump in here, too. SWM, 51 and heading to Disney w/my daughter and son (27 and 16, respectively).

GorshGoofy,

I live closer to Birmingham.... small town called Sylacauga. Good to see someone from the South, it seems like the majority on here are from up North.

Kyle

I'm quite jealous of all the folks who get to go to Disney soon. I probably won't get there till next february. :sad2: Anyone going to hawaii in May? That's my next vacation.

Not sure you'd want to go with my mom and visit my brother and sister in law, but I think I'll keep my trip. I can't wait to go to the beach.

Add me to the list....2 years divorced....swm 46 I've been a disneyholic for about 15 years now and have made 10 trips to Disney......the last 8 have been solo. For some reason I just love going there during the first couple weeks of September. The lines are short and the weather has been great....outside of the few storms that hit during 2004.

For some reason it is just so hard to find someone that enjoys disney as I....other then those on this site.

Great to see a thread like this......

Don't ever give up hope, Jen. Back in the Stone Age when I was 22... okay, I'm not that old, it was the Bronze Age... I loved Disney just as much as Kyle.

If any of you solo singles are at WDW on Sunday, May 8th, I'm planning on organizing a Jellyrolls meet that night (I'll probably be there several nights between May 7th and 12th).

Also, if you MA folks are are around on April 30th, I've organized a meet at Jake Ivory's Dueling Piano Bar that night. You can on this thread. (Craig, are you still coming? Or did you forget it?).

I'm also a single Disney loving gal :)
