Well, I took them back and the guy that owned the store took one look at my feet and got seriously mad at the guy that sold them to me. He said they were all wrong for me ( yeah, my now hurt foot and hip told me that). He said that I have some crazy skinny feet and needed to be in a 2a width and the Adrenaline's were a b. He gave me the Asics 2000 GT. So far they feel better, a little tight, but will loosen up I'm sure. Main thing is I don't feel like I am stepping on something when I walk. I might wait till Sunday to try to run in these because my foot is really hurting. Makes me pretty nervous because my first 10k is Thursday and I need a good time to submit to Disney

. I'm back to swimming and biking, but still no running. I never had much pain, just discomfort. What sent me to the doctor was swelling that wouldn't go down. My doctor was not much help, wasn't athletic, so didn't get my dislike of his orders to just rest. He said its just overuse, but not much had changed in my training. No increase in mileage or anything like that. he did agree to pt, to make sure the surrounding areas are strong. I start that next week at a pt place that specializes in injured athletes. So that gives me hope. I'm a little afraid to get back to running, but I won't know how it's doing if I don't try right? Just curious about how you handled it, how long you were out, etc, if you don't mind sharing. Interestingly my favorite shoe is the one you said caused your problems, but I've had mine for a long time (months) before this started without problems.

Of course! My family thinks I'm nuts too. I have FOUR of my current running shoe - one that I don't wear for running anymore, but can wear around the house or to the store, etc, one for running now which are almost done mileage-wise and TWO still in the box. What makes this even funnier is that I put little pen marks on the back of the shoes so I can keep them straight. DH and DS just
) so you are way ahead of me today
. Haven't run in them yet but amazing comfort for a minimal shoe!
