I'm wondering what a good goal would be for a 10K to get a decent corral placement. I am training for a 10k that's at the end of July. I'm new to running. Tried it a few years ago and kept having plantar fasciitis issues. I'm finally ready to try again now and doing all my foot exercises so the PF doesn't flare up again. I walked/ran about 2 miles the other day at a 13 minute pace.
Any ideas on what time I should shoot for with the hopes of a good corral placement in the PHM? I really don't want to be in the last or next to last corral!
Also, hope to run together. DS and DH will more than likely qualify for a better placement than myself and DD. Do we need to register as teams or can they just start in a lower corral than they are assigned? I know most races will let you drop to a slower corral, but I don't know if Disney allows this.
You can move back, you cannot move forward for corral placement. Your DH will start B or back, as for the half, men are starting B and back this year it sounds like. And any 10k time is better than none and will get you out of last corral most likely.
