Has anyone printed out the wavier???
My looked fine on line, but my name and age and bib # printed out wierd numbers and letters.

I printed mine to Microsoft writer so i could save it on my computer and it printed just fine.

Is anyone else volunteering. I'm doing the 5k and volunteering for the 1/2. If you've done this in the past does anyone know when we will get that information.

Bib #2036 for me for the half
#464 for DD6 for the kids race

I was able to print ours fine without doing anything special. My number is 1573. I have heard of some people that are unable to print theirs right now though. Perhaps there's an overload of people trying to get their info?

What a reminder that it's coming up very soon!!! :yay: Although the 10 mile training run this weekend will be a reminder too !

Hey ya'll, I'm starting a bib list for the Princess Half, I have everyone's number up to this point.

I'm #4526.

Racey Tracy

Do the bib numbers have any sort of meaning? Or are they just a "number"?

For the Half the bib #'s will eventually be which corral you are in for the start.

I have only done 2 of Disney's 5Ks and I seem to recall the Jan 5K in 2008 having signs by pace and you lined up that way. And the same for the Minnie 5K and 15K. They didn't have corrals set by bib #'s.

Make sure when you pin it on your shirt the night before the race (any race!) that you try the shirt on then and make sure the bib is laying right so when photos are taken by ASI it will be linked to you.

By the way, speaking of pins... bring your own! It seems they were spotty in January on who got safety pins for attaching their bibs. Thankfully I always travel with some. I also like a larger safety pin to secure the medal lanyard for wearing around the parks. A few years back Susan's velcro on the lanyard wasn't working too well so now we pin ours so no more worries :thumbsup2

WOW this thread moves too fast for me....3 weeks until I arrive at WDW. Now that I finished a 10 mile long run, I'm starting to get excited!

I would like to order a headband. Can anyone tell me the page # with the info so I don't have to search through all of them?

Is there a designated meeting place before the 1/2 or 5K? I can't attend the festivities the night before. I am not going to the breakfast after the 5K - too expensive for not very much food selection. Seems like I would be paying to take photos with the princesses. Speaking of which, for marathon weekend, were there opportunities to take pictures with the characters after the race? When I did the Minnie 15k in 2007, the characters were outside in the parking lot and you could take pictures with them. The race retreat package advertises photo ops with the princesses but I don't want to pay for that either if I can take pics after the race anyway.

Any word on the EMH situation at HS? I haven't noticed any updates to the Disneyworld website.

Now I really need to start thinking about what I will be wearing. Still undecided on the skirt/tiara/princess costume thing...

I ran the Chicago marathon last year. It was my first marathon and (other than the heat and blisters on my feet) it was a great experience. There are people cheering everywhere and a lot of the neighborhoods provide entertainment along the course. I haven't decided whether to run Chicago again this year. I would  to run NYC and will probably enter the lottery so that I can run it 3 years from now...

I am telling you GO FOR NY SISTER it will be the most amazing experience in the world, the whole city dress up to honor the runners, even the taxis and buses, they have events w/special pricing, we saw The Police at the Madison Square Garden, enter the lotto in February and as soon as you get the yes book the hotel, believe me if God intends for you to do it you'll get the #, it took me only one try and I was in, Go for it!!!:cheer2:

My bib # is 3789.

PS: Stacy, I'm also still not on the first page list for the Half.
2BoyMom - Donna - WL

I really hope to be able to do this. (I wish there was a smilie with his fingers crossed).

Has anyone who is volunteering got their information yet? Just wondering what time the training for vols. is so that I can make plans around it.

Oh, we deceided to do the party now that they have released more details around it. I think it will be fun, esp. if we can walk on TSM. Our parents are going with us and haven't been to WDW since 2005.

Half Marathon Bib # 2027

*can't get the thing to print, but I think it's my PC.... so I will try later!

Good morning! Guess I will go look for my Bib#!

Sorry to hears the new shoes are still an issue for you Meg. I know the shin splints are no fun at all. Hope that clears up soon. I got a post card about a clearance sale at Roenkers on 2/21. Not sure I should go since I really don't need anything!!
