Yeah, you read that right.
On our last trip, DH & I couldn't help but wake up at sunrise! I guess it must have been the Disney excitement. We were staying CL, so we just went up to the lounge and got some cappucino or espresso from the coffee machine and sat on the patio and enjoyed the lovely view while the kids continued to sleep.
As soon as breakfast was ready, we'd go back to the lounge and get food and bring it back to the room.
Early one morning, we were visited by a mama duck and her little ducklings. They came by and checked us out for a while before waddling down to the lake.
Also, bring your tripod and get set to take lots of fireworks pictures from the Poly beach (or your room)! I strongly suggest bringing the tripod because on some digicams (such as mine) that has a fireworks mode, it keeps the shutter open longer than normal. It's very difficult to keep the camera steady unless you use a tripod. I wish I had done that on the last trip, and will definitely do it on the next!
As mentioned above, you must see the Electrical Water Pageant. My kids loved it.
Check the Poly schedule for the Tiki torch lighting ceremony, and other free activities going on there. If you can swing it, see the dinner show there as well.
