Calling all PO experts!!

I have a Sat. - Fri stay planned at OKW. Need to book that first friday separate from other ressie. (Airfare was cheaper that way. NOT booking that friday OKW...too much $$.)

Thinking Value to save $$, however the add'l $$ for POR or POFQ will be worth it to me if I can take the boat from PO directly to OKW (thus avoiding cab fare.)

Is it possible? Does the PO DTD boat stop at OKW first?

Also - any other thoughts about why it's worth the extra $60 for one night to stay at PO instead of a value? I'm checking in at 8pm and will check out in the morning to get to OKW. DH and 2 DS's will swim on Friday night and Sat. morning, while I travel to OKW to checkin. Then when they're done swimming, they'll travel to OKW too.

There is not a direct boat from POR/POFQ to OWK, but you can take the boat to DTD, and then catch the next boat from DTD to OKW....

Thanks! Does anyone have a map of the DTD hotels and how they relate to the river? Does that make sense? I know where SSR is located with regard to DTD, but not sure how OKW and PO play in to that same river....?

You can get Disney to transfer your bags between the hotels, and you could just take the boat to DTD and then back to OKW.

There are two boat services which run from the same dock area at DTD (located beside the Rainforest Cafe). The first stops at Saragota Springs and then takes a left fork in the river and goes on down to OKW. The other service goes straight past Saratoga Springs and then takes the right fork in the river (going past the old treehouse villas) to stop at POFQ and POR.

Google Earth or Windows Live Maps would be the easiest way to visualise the routes to be honest.
