Hi debster, are you only trying to get yours by phone? I am going to try on line, my fiance is at ticketmaster right now hoping for a good lottery number, his sister is maning the phones. I was surprised they raised the ticket number to 8, always been 6, I hope that doesn't decrease our chances.

Not sure what the thinking was in raising the number to 8. At first glance it might actually be to cut down on the number of tickets that the 'brokers' get their hands on. I mean if the real fans get 8 tix instead of 6 that will cut into the pool. But...the other side of that is that the brokers can now get more too.

I have friends who are online (computer) on line (physically at Ticketmaster) and on the phone.

I also have a friend in Fargo, ND who is going to try and call her ticketmaster number to buy tix to the Mansfield, MA show.

Good Luck Parrot Heads. Looking out at the foot and a half of snow in my yard, this show cannot come soon enough!

Well, had no luck getting tickets on line or in line, seats were gone in 15 mins, so went through a broker, darn I hated doing that! But we are going, and thats the important thing, anyone else get lucky?

I went thru a broker too. I won't know if they have tickets for me til Monday, but it seems likely. Although they will be lawn seats. I think Camden is as popular as some of the venues where Jimmy does two shows. I wish they would add a night and then maybe tix would be easier to come by. We definitely should do a parking lot meet.
These brokers pay college kids to go and buy the max number each, in person and on line. If they have a hundred people in line we don't stand a chance.

He does 2 shows in MA, and those tix were gone almost as quickly.

Can you imagine the chaos, a DIS meet at a Buffet show????? Talk about a time!!

Tigeroo, so you tailgate before the concert? We do when its on a weekend night, but during the week concerts we just go to Pennslanding and take the ferry over, we would love to meet you someplace, let me know!

My BF and I will have lawn seats. I don't even know Buffett's music, but my BF loves him, so I wanted to do it for him because he does SO MUCH for me

Goofy girl, you will experience something you have NEVER experienced before, you will become a true parrot head when you leave. I had listened to my BF CD's before I went to see him, and the show he puts on is so incredable, you have to admire him. I would LOVE sharing a bit of lawn with you, just to see if he gets your blood going also!

I haven't seen Jimmy in a few years now, but his concerts are waay more then just he and Reefer Band playing. .

Hanging with the crowd before, during, and after the concert is usually just as entertaining as seeing Buffet play. . LOL!!!


Since I'll be in Philly all summer, if he happens to play in the area again I'd sure be up for trying to get a Parrot Head/Dis Meet going. .

My Best Friend didn't get Tix yesturday and they cancelled the bus trip we usually take for this year

BUT A friend was at the beginning of the line and knowing that we would NEVER get Tix he is selling us a couple!

Remember its not what you know - its who you know!

So we are in!
And I would love a DIS meet at MA show! But I don't even know what tix our show is yet
Will know when we pick up tix tomorrow
Then we just have to get onto the other purple bus from our neck of the woods or Drive ourselves there (which might not be a bad idea! Then I can be the DDriver!)
