We are staying at Pop this trip. We've stayed at CBR and PO in the past. We figure the kids will like POP. Too bad we are missing each other by a day.

Your kids will love POP. We stayed there on our first visit. We were very impressed with it. The food court is better than the other resorts we stayed at (SSR,POFQ) IMHO I think it offers more of a variaty. Enjoy your trip may you have great weather

We are in Western Ny. We live about an hour south of Rochester. If anyone has ever gone skiing at Swain Ski Center, we are near there. We just spent 8 days in the world in July and we are planning on a cruise this winter. I would love to talk to other local DISers.

Just found this thread. I'm from Long Island. We are going down Sept. 27-Oct 4. Staying offsite at Horizons and Vistana (Yeah...doing the timeshare thing!) Now I am flipping out because I don't have any ADRs or plans yet. AHHHHHHHHH........

Pam, my Aunt owns at Horizons and I own at Vistana....AWESOME RESORT!!! You won't be disappointed. Which one are you staying at...Vistana Villages or Vistana Resort??

We live in the suburb of Syracuse. DS(14) and DSF(16) went to Darien Lake last week. Nice area where you live!

Good morning neighbors Is anyone driving down?

We are in November. DH refuses to fly. We plan on leaving very early am (4 am or so) and then stay over in one of the Carolinas (depending on how tired we are). I would like to drive straight through but with a 3-year-old I don't think it would be too wise.

Northern New York here (Canton/Ogdensburg). Party of 11 going in November. We have two cabins at Fort Wilderness. We have quite a unique group - DH, DD, DGD (7), DGD (5), DH's Ex-Wife, DH's two daughters and son along with two friends of children. We are really looking forward to the warm weather in November when it starts getting cold here in the north country.

Hiya, I only work, to satisfy my endless craving for Disney!! I tell myself everyday, going in to work. Self, you have to do this. In order to get to Disney. I believe this is what life's all about. My Husband, my Children, Disney, and the disboards. I don't think, I will ever kick the habit. I am going Sept 21-28th. Staying at the POP!! I think that is just about 7 weeks from now. First time onsite!! This will be my 18th trip. To the world!! First time with DDP. I can dance all night, just thinking about it!!

I would be interested in a meet if not too far. I would just have to convince my DH.

Grew up in Depew, lived there till I got married and then we moved to Rochester.

Our local Disney group is thinking of an informal meet for lunch sometime next weekend. If you'd like the info on where & when, please PM me as I'd rather not post online for safety's sake. It would near the Rochester area, off 390 south.

Just a bump to let you guys know that our local Disney group is having a meet this coming Saturday (8/12) @ 4PM. Please PM me for the location since we don't want to post that on a public board.

It is at local restaurant chain that will accomodate a larger group, has outdoor & indoor seating and would be a good place for a group meet. I believe there are at least 15 or so coming at this point, if not more.
