Calling all ... Nick hotel experts

I would love to book at this hotel for my visit to disey in May. But I have a few questions I'd like to ask ... and any insider tips would be great too.

Can I view shuttle information online. For just shuttlers ... how easy getting to and from disney parks to nick hotel at night when parks close? How long is the ride?


Character meals ... how much is this or is this included? I know there's so many more questions but I have somehow drawn a blank.

I am no big help with your questions but we have been now 3 times and this weekend we will be heading there for out 4th. The kids LOVE LOVE it and beg to go every year. In fact we were in MK one day and they asked when we got to go back to the hotel

In know the shuttle info was listed on the info you get at check in. I can check when we go. we never used it, we rather drive in and have our own car to go and come back if needed.
Everyone I heard about said the character meals were great!

Cool, this info was useful. I've been hearing many mixed reviews on Nick .. kinda scary ones too.

We are going back next month, it'll be our 7th trip and we all love it!!! Yes, on their website you can view sample shuttle schedules, I can't remember exactly where so you'll have to play around a little bit. Have fun!! P.S. Check out travelocity, I found a great deal for next month!

We stayed here for two nights back in October 2009 after spending a week in Windsor Hills. This was on our kids list of "to dos". I can say we will NEVER go back!!! In my opinion it is an overpriced motel 6 with Nick colors and characters slapped on. When we were there one of the pools and slides were completely closed cause they said it wasn't busy enough.. I beg to differ. The character interactions were minimal unless you payed for the character breakfast which we did because my kids had to see Spongebob!!! Food was just OK and overpriced. The food court had half the restaurants closed. Couldn't even get a cup of coffee anywhere onsite in the middle of the day. We thought we would spend the last two days just hanging out at the hotel but after one night we were bored and opted to add a day to our Disney passes and hit the parks again.
We learned its not what they hype it up to be... once was enough after our pocketbooks couldn't justify the price for a pool and a few waterslides considering we have been to Kalahari and Great Wolf where there is much more for your money.
