I'm thirty-nine, but I think you're right about the effects of age and/or hormones. After I had my son, I even started getting coarse hairs growing out of my chin! I blame the boy.Luckily, they're easy to yank out.
I think the difference is that my upper lip hairs are pretty soft. Thick and dark, sure, but still soft. So no stubble.
My chin hairs, on the other hand, feel like cat whiskers. So I guess if you had something like that growing out of your upper lip, you'd probably get stubble!
Yea, mine are not soft and never have been. Laser is the only option at this point.
Luckily, they're easy to yank out.
so I use the tiny razors. You would be suprised you don't actually have to use them daily. The hair doesn't grow back thicker (at least not the one on your upper lip). For some reason, your leg hair does
I would have her use that why torture the child!

So those are my suggestions.
My dd's are 1/2 Italian but seem to take after my side and aren't very hairy. I'm dying to get laser hair removal for my lip and bikini but it's so expensive. Maybe this year..a bikini wax is so expensive $50+tip so it adds up.
