DH was USAF 1964-68, Vietnam 1967-68. He recently retired as a VA physician. We'll be enjoying our first stay at Shades of Green this September (yeah for the new SoG Veterans Program!) Then on to BWV - just about our favorite place in the world.

Happy DVC Members since 2004.

Now that I know I am not alone in here..... Is anybody going to be in WDW in August? As things sit right now my family is going down between 18 - 26 August. Hopefully I will be making the trip too, but I will have to see what the detailer has to say. I would like to meet some other:cool2: military folkes that like Disney as much as I do.

DH has 19 years in with the NC Army National Guard, he's had 2 tours under Iraqi Freedom totaling 28 months and plans to retire Dec 2010~

LOL I had a few bad moments when we bought DVC resale, cause TTS kept saying it would take X amount of time and things kept happening alot faster, and Tim was still in Kuwait! Still it all worked out in the end:goodvibes

I just wanted to hop onto this thread to thank the DVC members who have served in the military, past and present! We really appreciate your sacrifice.
