This morning I have the feeling that I've been thinking about this enough to actually MOVE! That top 13 list helped...I think I have to move number 13 into the number 1 slot! So I guess I will talk with the realtor in my neighborhood who sells many homes in this development. He knows the market and the neighborhood! And he knows more about this specific neighborhood than DS's godfather. Not sure how I feel about that. I'd like to pass this on to his godfather, but I need to get the best price possible also. Sheesh! I will be hunting this guy down in the next few days. Wooooooooooooooooooo hooooooooooooooo! I'm shooting to be out of here and in Virginia this summer! Cross your fingers and say a prayer please!! It would be fantastic if all the timing could work out. Oh, yes! And a prayer for a good job up there! School will have to go on hold for a year. I'm getting excited about this!!

AOL is telling me that in Hampton Roads today at some point it was/is 36 degrees. And Monday night will go down to 20! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...That's awfully cold for a Floridian! Soon to be a Virginian!

Sounds like my weather today. It was chilly out at 8 a.m. when I took the pups outside. Then I went out for my walk at 11 a.m. in sweats. MISTAKE! It was waaaaaaaaaaaaay too warm for sweats! LOL! I saw one person in a long sleeved tee, but everyone else was dressed for summer. LOL! Tonight, it's nice and brisk out again. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..FL in the winter!

HELP! I was hoping to seriously move there this summer. Well, in today's mail I received a letter from my next door neighbor. He says that his 91 year old grandmother lives close by...on the other side of town. But he and his parents would be more comfortable if she lived "closer." HE ASKED ME IF I WANT TO SELL MY HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!! Oh, my gosh! I am unprepared for this!! I'd really like the Newport News area, but I'm not choosy on a specific town other than it be a good area/neighborhood, good school for ds currently in 5th grade. What else do I need to consider. Does anyone know a GREAT realtor up there?????

I had e-mailed a good friend. He knew I was hoping for the summer. He said...sell now, sell big, and run to where I want to go!

Thanks, Sleepy! Yesterday I called the private school I'd like DS in. They'll mail an application on Monday!!! I was surprised they didn't ask what grade I'm looking for. Hmmm...might that mean they have openings? I have to get busy getting this place in order!!! Eeeeeeeeek!

Today I heard from the appraiser about my current home. Why am I less than thrilled? Sheesh! I think I'll call the neighborhood realtor again and talk with him. How is it going up there? Still freezing? Still snowing?

My parents live in Chesapeake, VA and absolutely love it
My dad is able to golf 9-10 months of the year
probably could do it almost year round but he getting a little older
They are always on the go with stuff to do and see
We've been to most of the touristy type attractions there more than once.
We do love the area. If we were to move any where other than Florida we would move there
