Good morning everyone!!!
Today is Stehanie's first day of summer school

,and then afterwards we are going to the library to see Ronald McDonald

Stephanie was still awake when I came home last night, and she said she didn't want to go to summer school

(I think she is a little nervous). I told her that she'll be done with school before me, and that made her a little happier

I also explained how important school is and how you can never have to much school. I think it's good that she's me going to school (I also took some education classes at a local college before Katie was born), and has seen her father go to numerous FD schools, so she understands that school doesn't have to end when you are a grown-up.
My class was good last night, and I'm going to learn
alot. My head was kinda spinning when I came home from the amount of info we covered

I don't know what I was expecting, but I wasn't expecting the kind of info we would be covering - but hey....that's okay!!!

I have 5 chapters to read by Thursday, and I came home and read 2 last night. So you all know what I will be doing this afternoon while Katie is taking her nap.

Enjoy your time at the library! I think James might be my last summer reading program guy! Emily has to do required reading for school.
Thanks, we really did too

The activity I did with Katie was sorta lame, and even she was like, "What in the heck is this

??? (she didn't say that of course)" But then when it was over she really liked looking at all the books. Stephanie had to be by herself when we were doing the activity, and she liked having some alone time

. Both girls came home with alot of books.
Well, I have to take Emily & Morgan to their last day of Pirate Camp - it's a 2 day program at the school to help make the transition to middle school easier!
That sounds like a great program!!! I don't think that they have anything like that here

My little Stephanie has to start middle school at 5th grade - the parents around here, including me, are not very happy about it

Good luck with your first night of Real Estate school. How long will you have to go before you're all done??
Thanks, I was a little nervous starting it last night, but not anymore. This class will last until Aug. 15th (or there abouts) and then I will need to take the State test - that will make me nervous!!!

(I wish there was a nailbiting smilie)
I enjoyed my Sunday off! I got a lot of housework done, but at a leisurely pace so I still felt like I was off work!
I'm glad you had a good Sunday, I know you were looking forward to it!!!
Happy belated birthday to you DH

I'm glad your dinner turned out awesome

I would love the receipe, so if you could post the link that would be great - thanks

!!!! Did you DD make it home for your DH's birthday dinner? Let me know how she's doing and how everything went.
Well, now he wants me to go for a chest x-ray, a pulmonary function test and see a cardiologist to rule out an underlying problem. It really hit me when he was saying all this....pulmonary....cardiologist! Those are some big, seriuos words and I don't even want to think those things.
I understand the fear going through you, because I had that same fear when I was told to see a Neurologist

It's a very scary thing to hear

!!! My mom sees a cardiologist due to a valve in her heart that doesn't close all the way (I'm not saying you have the same thing, because I have no idea), but she is on a maintence drug to help with this situation. A cardiologist is a good doctor to see because he/she will help you try and prevent something like a heartattack. It's better to see this doctor now, than after something dreadful happens. So......you can actually look at this as a blessing in disquise because you will have the ability to know what's wrong, and start taking care of it now. Better now, than later!!! I know that doesn't make the fear go away, so I want to give you lots and lots of hugs

. Please try and not worry to much, because like me, you will probably go to the doctor, find out the problem, and realize that this is something that can be helped so you don't get worse. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, and please keep us posted on what the cardiologist tells you. You know we care about you!!!!
Well, I better get going and wake Stephanie up for school - wish me luck, she's going to be like a grizzly bear when I wake her up

Have a good day everyone!!!
