Yesterday I made my first ever pot roast. I was always nervous about making one, I don't know why, but I was I tried a receipe from the Kraft website and it was good, but it needs a lot of modification, and then it will be perfect

Poor Stephanie has such a bad cold. I feel bad for her because this is her first cold in a really really really long time. I don't think she even had a cold last year. She's feeling miserable. I hoping that it will pass soon.

HALLOWEEN

Today is going to be a busy day.
This morning I am going to my Brokers office for the first time to visit new listings, and then a meeting is held afterwards.
Then I leave there and rush home, change clothes, go to Stephanie's school to do her Halloween party.
Then we leave there, go get Katie at daycare. Then take her home and get her into her costume.
Then we leave home and go to my moms to trick--or-treat around her neighborhood (which is also my in-laws neighborhood). So we visit with both Grandmas and Grandpas.
Then after trick-or-treating we go back to my moms for our traditional Halloween chili and hotdogs
Then we finally go home to stay, do homework, and go to bed.
Whew......I'm tired just thinking about it

Well, I gotta run - Ms. Katie just got up and she is now sitting on my lap.

Tonight is my first training class at the Broker I'm working for. Someone at the office yesterday told me these classes are alot of fun - which makes me glad - I like fun!!!!

Trick-or-treating was so cold last night . When Stephanie said she was cold and wanted to go back to Grandmas - I didn't argue with her They got tons of candy as normal - so my coworkers at the frame store should be happy

So....how much candy do all of you with trick--or-treating children have in your house? I have the most candy ever in the history of me having children I have 7/8 of a paper grocery bag full of candy. Not only is this candy going to my work this year, but it's going to the fire dept. We just don't eat that much candy

Last night was my first training class. It was alright . The all day one on Saturday is going to be LONG, but I"m sure I will learn alot

Hello everyone!
I survived competition! My squad took 2nd. Everything ran smoothly. We had 52 squads compete. I am really glad it is done!

I was planning on resting on my laurels (where are they?) for a while! However, our football conference is hosting a 4 day football tourney over Thanksgiving. I did limit myself though! I agreed to arrange to have cheerleaders at the opening ceremonies/party. I agreed to organize the maskers for the little parade they have planned. THAT IS ALL!! I WILL NOT SIGN UP TO DO ANYTHING ELSE!!!! No, really... stop laughing!

slo - I am so excited for you to be doing your classes! Hopefully they will give you lots of breaks on Saturday! You could always bring candy to pass out!! Sounds like you have enough!!!!

Boy.... yesterday was long, but still a good day

My training class is getting me so pumped up!!! I wish I could get started a lot faster than I can. But with the girls being so young, that would be hard to do since I have to be away from home alot. I'll just take this time and learn, learn, learn and when I have more opportunity to leave home to show houses, I'm going to totally know what I'm doing!!!!

The Mickey Magic Show was really good and the girls really loved it !!! I have never been to a magic show, so to see this was pretty exciting!!! Now I want to go see David Copperfield

Karen - I hope your playoff game went well last night.

Well, Kevin got our Christmas lights up and they look great . We had them on long enough to see them, and now they are off until the day after Thanksgiving I had Kevin string lights over our skylight in the kitchen, and they look really cool.

Emily's squad was AWESOME and took first place. They only missed division champs by one point! The other squads in their division were lots older.

I worked at a flu vaccine clinic last night at work. We gave 105 vaccines from 5:30 - 7:30. We have already done several of these and so many people come! I guess that's good though! We had 24 positive flu tests last week alone. Has the flu started where ya'll are?

Wow, sounds like you were busy!!!

I'm not sure if the flu has started yet, but flu vaccines are being given out here.

I went to the doctor yesterday for a cough that I've had for weeks, and he told me that he didn't want to give me a flu shot while I was there. I thought, that's fine, because I didn't want one He wants to see me in a week, and I have a feeling he's going to want to give me one then.

Do you get a flu shot?

Everyone in my house did the Flumist this year. It is a nasal spray instead of a shot. Pretty cool!

Today I am going to get my picture taken for my real estate website and my business cards. I sure hope my hair turns out right - alot of people are going to see this picture.

Idroveallnight - I heard of that flumist I'm not nervous about getting the "shot" I'm always nervous about getting sick afterwards Does that happen often? Should I stop being nervous about it?

slo - I hope your picture turned out beautifully!!! You can't get the flu from the shot because it is not a live virus. The mist is a live virus - but made to be really weak so you shouldn't get any symptoms. Do you get your girls vaccinated?
