Hi all - thanks for any advice you can give.

Question #1: Currently have tickets to attend MVMCP on 11/28 (my group of 10). I made ps's at Whispering Canyon for 5 p.m. that evening. Thought we could eat at the resort where we're staying, then go over to MK for the party. The woman who made my dining ps's thought this would be a good idea. She said while you can get into MK with your party tickets early (4 or 5) - she said there's really not much you can do between 6-7 (until they open everything for the party). She said she went to MNSSHP and there was a lot of "waiting around." Does this sound right - or should I cancel those ps's and get over there early?

Question #2 - Debating whether I should purchase MVMCP tickets for Nov. 30th as well. (Don't know yet if my kids can do another late night). I was told by others on this board that I should be able to purchase them that day - I guess I'm just really concerned about them selling out since crowds seem to be bigger this year. What is your advice on this?

Thanks so much for your help.

When we went in 02, we got to the park about 4:30, We had dinner at the Plaza and then after the park was closed, we were ushered into Tomoorwland. We could do the rides that were there. For this year, we have PS at CRT at 5:25. This way, we are in the park at the opening time.

There isn't much "party stuff" going on until 7:00. If you want to eat at the hotel, that's fine. You should be done at able to arive just as it starts. Plus, your hotel is close. We are coming over from POFQ.

Since 11/30 is a Tuesday, it shouldn't sell out. Usually the Friday nights sell out. You can decide when you get down there. We do it once since our kids are little and we don't want too many late nights.

Thank you for your quick response, Tink. I appreciate your advice (and I feel better about my plans already).

That hour of not being able to do much will be gone in a flash if you're interested in riding any of the Tomorrowland rides. Last year we got there early, grabbed a bite at Cosmic rays, and then between 6 and 7 I think we were able to ride Buzz twice, TTA twice, Astro once (we typically won't ride this because it loads so slow), and I rode Space mountain once or twice. For the rest of the evening, we didn't worry about riding any of the rides around there since we had already done them. It also allowed us to get right to the picture station at 7 before any lines formed. We didn't go to the park that day, so we were anxious to get there rather early. The time before, we waited to enter at about 6:30, and there was much more of a crowd coming in. We also used the same strategy this year for MNSSHP. That being said, a good meal can really add to the day, but if everyone is so anxious about getting to the park, they may not feel like eating a big meal anyway.

I rember getting to MK around 4 pm and getting a wristband. When the park closed you could still get on get on the rides by showing the wristband. I would try to be in MK prior to park closing, as the crowds tend to build for the party opening. I'd rather be in the back of the park, than fighting the crowd just to get in. I think you'll be ok if you wait to buy tix for 11/30.
Have fun,

You'll pay extra if you wait until the day of the party. Make your decision the day before. That night should not sellout.
